Because, yeah. I did a track workout today, first one since...well, a while. I didn't want to do Yasso 800s, just wasn't feeling it. So I did a ladder: 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 1200, 800, 400 all with 400 recovery, and 4 miles of warm up and cool down. Awesome workout.
ALL of my splits were sub-7:00 pace. The back half of my ladder was *significantly* faster than my front half, and my mile was a 6:43. I'm SO stoked about this workout today. I feel fit, ya know? After the second 1200, I was all "omg, I feel SO GOOD right now!!! I love track!" I didn't have any music, either, which was kind of awesome. I'm just happy.
Anyhoo. Just needed to get that out. DH just didn't seem very invested.
