What's your version of deviled eggs?

Tell me your favorite recipe por favor.

Easy and simple - cream together the eggs with a little mayo, Durkee's, dill, light pepper and salt. My stepmom would add crumbled bacon (then leave out the salt) but that depends on my mood. And sprinkle with paprika. H hates eggs so I never get to have them but I ADORE deviled eggs! Now that I know it exists, I would try using the smokey paprika.

Do you sprinkle the bacon on top or do you mix it in. 

I've never done it that way, but I'm very intrigued now.

I just do eggs, pickles, mustard, mayo and green onions (if I have them).

I've never done it that way, but I'm very intrigued now.

She always mixed it in, LARGE crumbles, not thin ones like pancetta. Cook it to very crisp/hard crumbles, makes a nice contrast to the silky/smooth texture of everything else. Just leave out ANY extra salt as you'll get enough from the bacon.

Yeah, I keep it simple with what I have. mayo, mustard, pickles if I have them, , maybe a tiny bit of pickle juice, pepper and salt (but taste since the pickle juice can be salty enough), then paprika on top

Sorry, one last stupid question, but can I make deviled eggs the night before and then fill them right before eating?

Well damn. I've been making the deviled eggs in my family for years, always requested, and now the recipe *must* be changed to include bacon.

Yes, definitely.

Hell, you can fill them the night before as well. It might get the slightest tinies bit of "skin" on top but nothing that I've ever been bothered by.
