Am I the only one who thinks the show is utter ridiculousness? Starting with the "murder" being defense and therefore nothing requiring cover up?
But also because of the terrible acting and constant histrionics and such.
No, you are not. And I probably won't pick it back up in January. That's too long of a break for me to care about it. But I wanted to see who did it lol.

I think I'm done too. I don't really care what happens now that the mystery is solved.
Not that I cared that much to begin with, but the cover up really doesn't interest me.
Yeah, Mckayla (sp?) pushed Sam off the railing and they thought he was dead but NOPE! He was still alive and came back to consciousness and started strangling Rebecca and that's when Wes hit him with the trophy.
While the show is quite silly, I do appreciate how hard the writers and directors have worked to piece everything together very nicely. It is like a poor man's Lost.
I thought the scene at the end meant that Annalise came home after Sam had been murdered (which is it even really murder? It was clearly self defense) and was going along with it as a disappearance.
Oh, see, I thought the twist at the end was that Annalise did it. Now I can't remember what she said . Or at the very least came home while they all went to alibi themselves at the bonfire.
But then I was confused about how all the other players were involved if Annalise did it, so who knows. Maybe I will have to watch in January lol.

There are so many things that are hard to overlook. I'm trying - but the writers need to work with us a LITTLE lol. Why didn't they just call the police??? Why would they go to such lengths to burn away all of the DNA evidence and then handle everything, scattering DNA everywhere? Why ? LOL
I think Annalise was in the house when the murder took place or at least she returned and found out about the murder before she visited her cop ex-boyfriend. I think the whole point of her going to visit the ex-b was to "plant" the story that Sam had fled because he knew Annalise discovered the truth about the sorority girl being pg and had requested the DNA test. The phone call begging Sam to come home and work on their marriage was also "planted" after Annalise was already aware of the murder.
Annalise would not have been carrying on about her DH leaving her to the ex-FB if she was not already aware of his murder.

I was confused, but this post helped clear up some of that. I like the theory they are all covering for her and she actually did it or came back during the murder and did it.
I don't know if I will be able to quit the show. I'm kinda sucked in.

I think this makes sense, her dramatic voicemail to him just seemed so weird - she must have known he was dead. I don't think Annalise actually killed him though.
I'll probably watch the first episode of the next half before I decide whether to give up or not.

I don't think she was in the house when he was murdered. Rebecca saw her leave and then went in and everyone else got there just a few minutes later. The idea that she was establishing an alibi with the exBF is interesting, but I don't think it's true. The long, rambling, just shut up already phone call was definitely just for the benefit of diverting attention away from herself.
I agree that the fact they just kept touching everything was crazy. I'm also surprised that Michaela signed the pre-nup.

I don't think she was establishing an alibi for herself. I think Wes explained what happened to her and now she is helping him get away with murder. I think we will find out that she gave step by step instructions to Wes on what the students needed to do that night while she went and took care of planting the fleeing story with the cop.
I also think the rambling voicemail was a cover-up, but I don't buy that Annalise was in the house the whole time or killed Sam herself. Like 4speedy, I think once she got home and saw what had happened, she decided to help Wes get away with it which is why he decided to get the body despite the coin flip.
I do like cjeanette's theory that Annalise killed Lila; I hadn't thought of that but wouldn't that be a twist?
It's super far-fetched, but I love me some Viola Davis, so I will keep watching, but I hope the writers make some changes to make it more believable.
Also, am I the only that is annoyed by the actor that plays Wes and his always.cocked.head!?!?!? Straighten out your head!!!!
YES! lol I saw a gif with Wes next to a chicken and I was cracking up. He looks just like a chicken sometimes! He didn't do that in Harry Potter! Hahah
