My almost 3 month old slept better last night than my 2.5yr old... What? I was not pleased when I heard ds1 outside my bedroom door ("mommy sleepin' ?" ) at 5:50 am. Especially since dh is typically in charge of ds1 in the morning but he is gone for work. Ds2 sttn until 6:30am,Wahoo! Go baby!
Also, I just learned this morning that Tim Horton's makes candy cane hot chocolate... Soooo good!
We were up at 5 a.m. again today. I just want to sleep until 7 again.
I had my a/s yesterday for #2. Everything looks great, right on track. Baby would not quit moving. I had to try flipping onto my left side, then my right....it took forever for her to get all the measurements. And I have another baby who can't keep his/her hands out of his hair, LOL. The tech was like, "Do either of you constantly touch your head?" Nope, but DD does!
Our neighbor is setting up their Christmas decorations. Let the season of inflatable crap begin!
DS is fascinated with the Christmas lights though, he and the neighbor had a great discussion about why the lights go up and that's how Santa finds houses. I'm just waiting for DS to ask about lights all over our house (which we don't do, we just do wreathes on the windows and some lit garland) and having to explain to him how Santa will find our house.
Another great night and morning, wheeee! Great, splendid sex last night, holy cow. DS STTN until 7:30am, great night's sleep. And he held his bowel movement until I got him out of the crib and took him to the potty. My big boy!
Homemade breakfast sandwiches are up next. Then we have a play date with DS's friend who has a new train table. DS is so excited.
Dh woke up dd1 as he was leaving at 5 and she spilled her water in her bed. I stuck her in bed with me and was tortured with random pokes and "oh! what is that? i hear lydia! oh the cat!" for an hour and a half before I gave up. It's going to be one of those days.
Got my first paycheck with my yearly merit increase; a whopping $40 more after taxes. I shouldn't complain because every little bit helps for sure, but I'm underwhelmed.
We're doing a Christmas mini-session tomorrow morning and I still haven't bought C's outfit yet. I guess I know what I'll be doing after work!

Yay for a healthy scan! And lol at the hands in hair. are you guys finding out the sex this time?

I've been feeling really woozy and my head feels swimmy the last few days. I don't know if this is what sleep deprivation combined with stress feels like or if it's something that necessitates a doctor call.
I'm not a big coffee drinker but I've been up for the past 3 nights with this cough so I thought it might be nice to get a frilly drink. I went through the Starbucks drive thru and got a chesnut praline latte. Eh, it's ok but I wouldn't order it again.
I feel like a brown noser because I got one for my daycare lady too!
I'm so glad this week is over. My principal observed me twice this week (one time it was unannounced), a student wrote on the bathroom stall with nail polish and the kids have just been off the walls.

It's open enrollment season for insurance. So XH and I get together and compare insurance to see which is better to put DS on. I want to make sure that it covers his current doctor, and his speech therapy.
Had to take my dog to the vet last night. Her itching was getting so bad she was chewing off hair. I've been fighting these fleas for months: flea shampoo, flea collar, flea spray, Frontline...nothing. So she is on a chewable tablet. Hope it helps. I feel so bad for her. But everyone commented on how sweet she is.

I had one yesterday. It was okay. I kept tasting cinnamon and thought I had a chai latte.
H called me this morning to tell me that at drop-off, C was sitting in his carseat going, "Cute! Cute! Cute!" so H asked him, "what's cute?" and he goes, "MEEEEEEE!" That made me smile.
It's my last day at my current work place! I'm sad to leave because I've grown attached to the company/team/people I work with but thinking about all the reasons, I'm glad I'm outta here.

I can't believe how big DS2 is. At 3 weeks he is bigger than DS1 was at almost 4 months. They are so different physically which I totally didn't expect!
It's either a sleep regression or my son is just a jerk. 2 wakeups! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I feel queasy.
I went out to dinner with my friend last night and my debit card for declined. So embarrassing! I guess I was supposed to activate my new one after the Home Depot fraud thing.

Both H and our DCP tried to get A to walk for me this morning, but she was, of course, being uncooperative. I do wish I'd seen it last night, but I'm basically over not seeing it yet. I imagine I'll see it tonight or this weekend.
I am really wishing my parents lived closer. They're a few hours away, and I'm fortunate they're that close, but I wish we were still in the same city. They love spending time with G and helping me out and I know my life would be so much easier if we were closer, esp with H's work schedule.
