She's doing ok for the most part. A2 is really easy so far, and A1 likes helping and getting her blankets and stuffed animals when she thinks the baby needs them. And she's very intrigued by the breast feeding thing. She's constantly asking "where'd milk go?" And then insisting on pulling down my shirt until she sees nipple.
Today though is apparently freak out about ALL the things day. Thankfully H is working from home today so he's been attempting to help with the meltdowns.
doglove Do what feels right to you. I switched everything on social media and when I started my new job shortly before the divorce was final I asked that they only use my maiden name. My pay checks still came in my married name but only my boss and HR knew.
dixienormous I am interested in your marriage situation, how are things at home? earlier this year you guys were not in a great place and you were preparing to leave what changed?
Things have drastically changed, most for the better, though in August I was re-thinking a lot (prior to getting the BFP) though it was rash on my part and we worked out a lot of the issues related to that particular instance. We've been working more towards solutions and talking things out rather than holding them in. On both of our parts. Which is really difficult to do. We still have blow outs like before, only now instead of silence for weeks on end, we cool off (as much as we can) and talk about why we reacted the way we did and what we can do about the situation and about our reactions. It's very much a work in progress, but for the most part, it's steady upward progress with little regression.
SwimDeep, I think you can be reasonably certain that no one will give you any marriage aids.
That being said, what WOULD you like this giftgiving season? Also, it's your turn to ask a question.
I don't have classes next quarter, so I'd really like some fluff reading. I've had my eyes on these titles for a while now: Worlds of Exile and Illusion -- Ursula K. Leguin Four Ways to Forgiveness -- Ursula K. Leguin The Telling -- Ursula K. Leguin
(She's one of my favorite authors). I would also love some Oolong loose leaf tea, but it would have to come with a tea infuser, because I lost mine in the last move.
Okay...I have a question for smock. How is the NaNoWriMo novel coming?

I still don't get why you would take your IUD out when you are in such a shaky spot marriage wise. You would never advocate for anyone else to do that.

Um . . . well . . . So the thing is . . .
Between the 5 month old baby, the full time job, the extra job responsibility I foolishly took on that is very work intensive this month, AND mono, plus a spouse with mono . . .

My total word count so far is 2,341.
Aw, that's alright - I was just curious. The last time I tried to do NaNoWriMo I didn't even get past 1000 words. I've always wanted to try again, but I'm not going to be able to until I'm out of school.
Have you ever tried the 3-day novel contest? I tried that one once too...I got a "novel-length" amount of words together, but it wasn't good at all - lol.
