It's a cross between potato skins and nachos. This recipe is similar to the ones I've had out. I haven't used it yet.

We do apps for dinner frequently, especially when we go out.

A local restaurant has a smoked salmon app that we always get. The salmon is locally smoked/sourced and they serve it with a local bakery's baguette, cream cheese, capers and finely chopped red onions, and it's incredible. Normally, along with this we'll get either the shrimp (boiled in spices) or the scallop app (bacon wrapped and coated with Parmesean)...or sometimes both of we're really hungry. We each get a Cesear's salad, and we're good for dinner.
