Cambria is getting a 3doodler (3d printing pen), legos, clothes, lots of Percy Jackson-related stuff, books, nail stuff, and some other random things. I'm not sure what Keira's "big" gift is yet, she keeps changing her mind. She wants some Easy Bake oven type thing that "bakes" in the refrigerator? And a marker maker and legos. Bonnie is getting a toddler Anna doll (Frozen), a doll crib, I'm making her a play kitchen and food, and other random things.

I want to get her a bike but it's probably better to get her one for her birthday in May so she can actually ride it. It's too cold now. So far we can't come up with a big present so small toys will win.
underwaterrhymes, we have a Rody from when E was a toddler, and six years later she and K still sometimes fight over it. J is 15 months now and loves it too.
I'm not quite sure what I'm getting J but I have a few ideas. I like the Tegu blocks but I feel like those could wait another year.
For J (16 months by Christmas): - Little People City Skyway or VTech Go! Go! Tracks (he LOVES anything on wheels) - Mega Bloks First Builders set (we already have the 80 piece bag and wagon) - Crayola My First Markers - books (probably another That's Not My... since he loves those)
For K (4): - Anna's coronation dress and crown - AG doll - Cinderella's Romantic Castle Lego set - Little Mermaid Under the Sea Treasures Game - books (Goldilicious and Katie the Candy Cane Fairy)
For E (7): - personalized blanket (she's been complaining that K and J each have one but she doesn't) - AG accessories (I have to go through the catalog to see what she picked) - Olivia's House Lego Friends set - Disney Eye Found It Game - chapter books (depending on what she hasn't already read by Christmas, lol)
For both girls: - Target Our Generation Wooden Wardrobe (for their AG clothes) - Frozen undies - Frozen walkie talkies - Frozen MP3 microphones - Frozen tin lunch boxes - Frozen sticker/coloring/marker/watercolor books - new watercolor and kids' paints and foam stickers
They both also want the Snow Glow Elsa doll and the Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin but I will probably pass those ideas along to family. Maybe the walkie talkies too.

This thread went way better than I thought it would.
We just went a little crazy. We're waiting on the Rody (and probably a plasma car) until his 2nd birthday. He's still a little short and I think might be frustrated by the Rody).

The girls are 4 and 7. They're jointly getting the Barbie dreamhouse from santa, dd2 is getting a new bike, and dd1 I just haven't decided yet. I'm sure there will be a bunch of random small toys as well, but those are their big gifts right now.
Okay, I love this thread! It gave me the kick in the butt to start Christmas shopping and so I checked our account and we had a $400 credit to our account for some of H's traveling expenses that I totally forgot about so I got almost all of David's shopping done! Thank you Amazon.
I had his Santa stuff shipped directly to my sister's house in CA. I sent a huge Lego set he's been wanting and a few lego Mixels for his stocking (I'll buy more stocking stuffers in CA).
We're going to open up gifts from me and H before we leave so we can keep gifts under our tree and he kind of gets two Christmases that way. For that I got him a Lego set he's been wanting but was his second pick for a Santa gift (and it was only like $35!), A Legends of Chima t-shirt, a science kit that comes highly recommended from Amazon, a Chima activity book, several level 2 reading books, and a fairly inexpensive Lego Chima toy he's been wanting. Phew!!! Pretty much done. I need to get some cheap books from Half-Price books and maybe some markers, crayons, paper and scissors and stuff. Maybe a small art kid? Then done!
And why am I going to be in TX while you are in CA?!?
sugarbear, I've been eyeing that one! I'm wondering if it's enough like a house to make him happy.
A little girl we have play dates with has a big pink plastic one, and he just adores it. He begs to take the mini furniture home every time we go. I'd love to go minimalist wooden neutral style, but I think he'd be disappointed it wasn't realistic enough. Maybe I can make one with wallpaper and such? (Omg famous last words)

I think we are done - hopefully! DS is really into Imaginext type toys and Batman so that's made it pretty easy this year when it came to Christmas shopping. :Y:
He's getting: Imaginext Batman Gotham Jail Imaginext DC Super Friends Superman Playset Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sewer Lair Playset LEGO Juniors Batman: Defend the Bat Cave Hot Wheels Race Rally Water Park Playset Thomas The Train: Take n' Play Roaring Dino Run Candy Land The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game Gamewright Hisss Card Game
He's also getting a new loft style bed, with batman bedding, and some batman decals for his room but I don't think I'll wait until Christmas to set that all up.
This is pretty much the most fun game ever. I want to play it every time DD asks, and even my DH likes it.
Do your girls have the Disney Princess cupcake game? If not, it's great, too.
Yes, they love the cupcake game! One of them got it as a gift a couple years ago, and they've had a lot more fun with it than I expected.
We have a Dr. Seuss version of the hidden treasures game, but K has been asking for the Little Mermaid version every time she sees it in the store. I am sure that version will get a lot more playtime than the Dr. Seuss one just because everything's better with a princess. lol.

OMG. Good for you for even considering diy! The one I linked comes with a couple firemen, a dog, and tons of moveable furniture.
5 year old's list: Amazon fire kids' tablet with OMG MINECRAFT, Lego sets, robot t-rex, plastic dinosaurs, movies, books
3 year old's list: dollhouse. (this is all he asks for... I am looking for one that isn't totally pink and purple... ughhhhh) I'm also gonna get him a little tikes fire trunk and gas pump, and some books.

I'm glad there is so much Rody love in here. We have serious space and storage constraints and need to be able to pack any gifts in a suitcase and a (deflated) Rody seems to fit the bill. I'll also probably buy her a lot of pajamas and board books.

We just got a Rody and she loves it! Wish we had waited to give it to her at Christmas now. She's also getting a playdough table and activity kit (kid is obsessed) that we found at H's grandma's house still in the Amazon box.
I don't know what else we'll be getting her - I don't really want to go nuts and have piles of crap everywhere. I would like something elephant related - maybe an elephant rocking horse type thing? Or a giant elephant (like those big giraffes). She's elephant obsessed if anyone has any suggestions?
I have a plasma car and tegu blocks so far. I'll buy some books.
Play food and a shopping cart is on the way from Amazon. I don't know how much will be from us and how much will be from one of our parents (sometimes they end up buying gifts from me, lol). I don't want to go totally overboard, because she is the first on my side, and ILs will buy her a ton too. We don't need that many more toys floating around here!
