The past couple nights have been wonderful... feeding every 2 or 3 hours. . He eats, burps, then goes back to sleep..
Tonight in the other hand he has been fussy since 830. It is now 11. He eats then stays awake. The eats and stays awake. I am tired and drained emotionally.. I just want to cry.. when I do DH asks whats wrong and I cant explain.

Hugs. I've been doing a lot of crying the last few days too. My baby is 7 days old. We're on a crazy cocktail of changing hormones right now. On top of the lack of sleep and having this whole new utterly dependent person to take care of. And if it's your first, like it is for me, you probably don't know how to do any of this stuff yet either. There's plenty to cry about, you don't need something specific. Take care of yourself.

Thanks. I do have to say my H is awesome and getd up everytime even if its just to sit with me. I have a lot of people at my house right now ans they all want to help and hold him and they are like take a nap... easier said the done! I feel like I am pawning him off. I dont want to do that.

I'm right there with you. Hormones crashing, baby with mixed up days/nights and cluster feeding. I'm 2.5 weeks out and seeing a ray of light at the end of the tunnel.
This too shall pass. You can do it hon.
I breastfeed but pump a bottle so Dh can take the 9/10-1 feedings and fussiness time. I get a good 3-4 hour stretch of sleep and feel much better taking on the rest of the night. Remember your hormones naturally shift at night too so the anxiety and weepies will seem even worse during this time.

And let me say... Let them help. Take a nap. You will be a better mother and feel more human when you are rested.
