Galaxy s4, I've had slightly over a year. Over the past 2-3 days,my screen has gone purple twice and then just back to normal. Then today I noticed this mark that looks like a melted indentation, but it's smooth to the touch..so I'm assuming it's from the inside? I attached a pic. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to need a new phone, aren't I? Ugh!
Weird!! I had an S3 and as it got older and the battery got crappier, I noticed it would get hot to the touch sometimes. I wonder if its a defect with the batteries in galaxies...
Could be. I never had any issues before, but this looks almost as though something on the inside melted the plastic (but not completely because it's still smooth on the outside). In combo with the purple screen of death...I'm thinking it may be on its way out...which really stinks because, come on...it's only a year old.

My S3 only made it a year and a half. The battery started charging slowly and it would go from 100% battery to dead between leaving for work and getting home. For something that costs so much, they really should be a bit more durable.
I agree...it's like they're built to self destruct. And for some reason I'm not eligible for an upgrade with sprint so they offer you to pay $25-30 a month x 24 months for a new damn phone...ugh!
