Saturday morning randoms and plans

I got up to feed L at 550. My MIL, who stayed over last night, was like "will she go back to sleep?" to which I said yes. Fed her, got back in bed at 6, and at 6 effing 10 I look at the monitor and MIL is in her room, changing her diaper and taking/laughing with her. Wtf? So H got up and now I'm going back to sleep for a while.

DD's birthday party is in 3 hours. I should get up but I don't want to.

I'm pretty sure someone in my class at the gym earlier had butt implants. I know they exist, but I've never seen them in the wild before.

We got home around 1am from a party. I had to pump when I got home and then I couldn't fall asleep even tho I was sooooo tired. Then H starts to snore.

Now the baby is up nursing. I hope she goes back to bed ok because I am SO tired.

DS got up an hour too early with a snotty nose. We are watching Thomas the Train on demand.

Thomas is about to do something stupid, as always, so I am trying to ignore it.

Hockey this morning, plus hockey pictures (for DS)
Then finally a normal weekend of cleaning, planning thanksgiving meals, shopping, etc.
Next weekend we do the sleepover for DS's bday.

I'm going for a run or a snowshoe in 45 minutes ish. Then I don't know. Shower, dressed, play with kids and hang out with my mom.

She wants to go out for lunch, but the weather is supposed to get shitty again, and I don't really want to wrangle two kids by myself as my mom is zero help and my H pulls a ghost routine when my mom is here. Lol.

Working.  Both days .  BUT I'm off the day after thanksgiving and not working that weekend. I also have 4 days off at Christmas so that's good.

I can't sleep well when DH is gone. I slept from 1-5:30 in broken patterns.

Today I have to take Leo to a party at Chuck e Cheese that falls directly over the length of his normal nap time

DS just passed out while nursing and is smiling in his sleep. Lol. He had the absolute best day ever yesterday. It makes me sad for both of us that we couldn't have gotten more days like that these past 3 months. But I'm hoping we'll have more of them as time goes on.

I need to do a quick house cleaning this am. An old friend from oot is visiting today and MIL is coming over this evening. Tomorrow is more house cleaning and hanging at a friend's place for a bit.

Thankful that it's finally the weekend. Work was wearing me down.
Going to take a nap and cuddle my puppies since we just got them back from my parents. Then head up to the hospital to see my grandfather. He had a stroke on Tuesday but from what family is telling me he is doing well. My parents called him last night while I was at their house and he's talking normally.
Probably relaxing and decorating the rest of the day. It's going to warm up a bit today so maybe take the dogs out to the park for a walk. Also making H clean the car. Since he started commuting the poor thing has gotten trashed. I cleaned the jeep up when we swapped so he needs to take care of that car.

Swimming, hockey and hockey (all three boys). I plan to bake and work when not cheering on teenagers.

Decorating for christmas! I'll be looking for battery operated lights to restrand the garland and battery/automatic window lights. This is the first old house I've lived in and there are way fewer outlets.

Being lazy for a while, then dd1 and 2 have karate and I'm going to hit up the fabric store and make a couple burp cloths as an add on present for my soon to be born niece or nephew

It's my birthday and all I wanted to do was sleep in but my a-hole cats woke me up at 5am and I could not fall back to sleep. This afternoon is my niece's bday party so I will be hanging out with a bunch of 5-6 yr olds at a painting place. My parents are in town so dinner with the family and then out tonight to celebrate with friends. And hopefully a nap in there somewhere.

How do kids know when you need sleep so bad and then do everything in their power to fuck it up? I was a little hungover yesterday because I stayed out too late and drank too much red wine Thursday night. DH was out and at ten or so I got in bed to watch some parenthood and fall asleep. Ten minutes in and ds starts crying. I leave him for a bit hoping he falls back asleep and then he is screaming.

I then spent until 12:45 or so trying everything in my power to get him down. Dh gets dropped off around 1 to right as I am nodding off. He is drunk and wants to talk. Then I am awake. Don't fall asleep until 2:15 or so. Wake up every hour to check on baby. Baby woke up at 620 for the day. I might be able to sleep standing up. Oh and I have a fifth birthday party for my bed nephew today.

We leave to go visit my parents this afternoon, so I need to spend the morning cleaning the kitchen and packing for myself and the boys.  DS 1 is super excited, and apparently doesn't trust me at all, because he just woke me up (at 6:00) to ask where I had put his suitcase so he could pack for himself.

I broke my "No Christmas before Thanksgiving Rule" yesterday because DD2 wanted to watch Rudolph (we have the DVD) and now I am thinking about pulling out some Christmas Decorations. No trees yet though. . . Although it sounds tempting.

Hopefully I will get a bit of cleaning done as well. We're hosting for Thanksgiving and I need to finish cleaning out the baby's room. There's like 3 things left in there, so I should be able to do it.

I'm getting my hair colored today, then I have to return some things at Target. No real plans while H works. It's rainy today, so I may just relax at home.

DH woke up before it was light out, and put the dog out. Dottie then proceeded to bark for 15-20min at everything and nothing. Bring her back in H! I did drift back off for another hour of sleep or so.

DH is REALLY wanting to get a dang tree today. So we'll find a tree stand and go to the one tree place that's open this weekend.

I think this afternoon I'll make my white chicken chili for dinner.
