I hate MLM....but I have friends who sell this stuff, and it's Christmas, and an easy way to shop.
Is Jamberry appropriate for my 8-year-old niece? They have some cute styles that scream "8-year-old" to me, though I imagine a lot are designed for grown women. SIL lets her paint her nails sometimes. I know I could ask SIL, but thought I'd ask here first in case it's a ridiculous question.

I think it's fine, but you should ask her mom and she may need help putting them on. However, there are a lot of great toys that an 8 year old would love, so I would probably save the jamberry idea for when she's a tween or teen and really hard to shop for!

I just looked at their website, and they do have Junior line. They're cute. And I've got nothing against manis/pedis for kids that age as my own 8 and 11 yo DDs have an entire drawer full of polish.
But honestly, the instructions for the Jamberry wraps sound like way more work than I'm interested in to both apply and remove stuff from my DDs nails. I'm much happier slapping some nail polish on there, and it pretty much comes off without help between daily use and the chlorine in the pool at swim lessons. Plus, the 8 yo in particiular likes doing her own nails sometimes, which is an option with polish.
