We are filling a shoe box for a girl between 2-4 through our church and then it will be shipped to a child in need. They specifically say no food or candy. Here is what I have so far. The shoe box is definitely full but I could try to squeeze more things in if they are small. Is there anything else I should include??
Oh yes, I just re-read the flyer and saw no liquids. Glad I checked! I'll grab a bar of soap. Stupid question but that includes toothpaste right? So that nixes my toothbrush and toothpaste. Ugh. I was trying to go for practical, useful and fun things!
We filled for older girls ( 2 boxes so not all of this went in one), but included bar soap, toothbrushes, poufs, fun packs of Kleenex, bouncy light up balls, markers, little dogs in purses, a little doll, fun band aids, scissors, glue sticks, a yo yo, paddleball, jacks and pick up sticks, a little drawing set from target $1 spot, lip gloss, and some other things.
I bought the same doll! I do peppermints, socks, and usually at shirt in size 4. Also a comb and barrettes and random stuff from the dollar spot. I got a train whistle, jingle bells, I spent 65 dollars filling 2 boxes.
I'm jealous of your doll! I couldn't find a doll small enough to fit in our box without taking up the whole thing. We did the same age group and did: crayons, coloring book, stickers, blocks, a bouncy ball, hair barrettes, toothbrush, whistle toy, fun socks, a stuffed animal, a small pencil case.
