I was thinking of getting my sister wine for her Christmas gift. It would be wine from the winery we toured together, and ones that she enjoyed a lot. The problem is that my gift budget would only allow 2 bottles and that seems kind of cheap. Is it a bad idea then, or should I do one bottle and something else? She really enjoys wine if that makes a difference.
I think that sounds like a lovely gift. The memories make it even more special, and it would never occur to me to consider * only * two bottles as being cheap.
Two bottles of wine isn't cheap. You're not talking about giving your sister two bottles of Boone's Farm. The gift and the thought behind it sounds lovely.
I think 2 bottles is a lovely gift. However, if you think she'd enjoy some nice or "fun" wine glasses (I'm a sucker for cool sparkling wine glasses, for example), maybe get her a pair of those plus a bottle of the wine.
I think that is a great gift. I have a 2 bottle wine carrier that I use a lot. If you could find an inexpensive one, you could make that part of the gift too.
I think 2 bottles sounds like the perfect gift. I would much rather have something I'm going to use and enjoy than something that will just sit around.
Does she have an electric wine opener? That could be something useful if she doesn't own one already.
