DD won't go to sleep. 18 months old, down to one short nap a day, and this kid already acts like she needs to drop the nap so she'll go to bed at a decent time at night. Nooooooooo! She's an early riser too. WTF, kid?! Get some sleep!
The girls are sleeping in the same room tonight since I painted some of dd1's furniture with toxic paint in her room today. I made the unfortunate choice of using the term "slumber party" which I realized when I heard dd1 yell, "stand up and dance!" and then watched on the monitor as dd2 did it. They'd better sleep in.

I can not say how much i am so grateful for our daycare. Tonight one of the parents hosted a kids movie night. It was so much fun and i love all the other parents so much. Daycare has given me and my son such an amazing group of friends.
Bas's next word, maybe, in this weekend's wordsplosion: Daniel, as in Tiger. Best parents.
This week E started pointing the remote at the TV and saying "tiger." I thought we don't let her watch much tv, although it's usually Daniel Tiger, but I can't imagine she knows that he's on tv.
Turns out DH has been letting her watch an episode here and there after work b/c she's usually a clingy, whiny mess.
Also we ran into a fellow parent at Target, but she was sans her daughter. She tells us her DD is with the grandparents for the night. JEALOUS! I wish we had family nearby to watch E.
We're going on our first date night since she was born next weekend (I know, I know). I already asked my parents to babysit since they will be visiting.
ETA: We've had day dates when she was at daycare, but not date nights. I know, we still suck.

My husband owes me big time. He was out of town last weekend, out with the guys tonight and will be out of town for thanksgiving. I need to plan a lengthy girls weekend
I am still awake, drinking my favorite beer (BlueMoon!). DD has been asleep for 1/2 hr. I'm sure I'll regret staying awake in the morning, but H said he'd get up with B early if I stayed to watch a movie with him. I agreed- I miss hanging with H since I'm usually in bed so early.
Bas's next word, maybe, in this weekend's wordsplosion: Daniel, as in Tiger. Best parents.
He has also spent probably 2 hours today saying Tato (my H) over and over. Like that Family Guy scene.
I try saying "Daniel" over and over before I play it and she knows what it is, but she won't say it. She will say Elmo or Bird (Big Bird) or Cookie if she wants to watch videos of those characters, but never Daniel. Maybe I should try Tiger like ssmjlm!
I'm sitting outside a roller rink waiting for a 14 year old to stop having a more exciting Saturday night than me. This is the latest I've had non pajamas on in a while. I should but pajama jeans.

I'm watching You've Got Mail and drinking wine. And having salted caramel chocolate chip cookies for dinner.
Leo was SO good today. It's like he knew I didn't sleep well last night and decided to take it easy on me. We went to a bday party at ChuckECheese during his normal nap time, and he was an angel!

Oh! I forgot to put this in the Friday night randoms, but I took L to one of those pottery painting places to make Christmas gifts for my mom and grandparents--it was a disaster. Get excited for a noodleskooze pinterestfail thread!

Wtf. DH decided to put DS2 in the PNP across the room rather than the RNP right next to the bed. You know, the one we have been using because he sleeps longer in it! Not surprisingly, DS2 woke up after only an hour and DH claims it's not possibly related.

Up again, DS2 has been up so much tonight. He has horrible, horrible gas and has been grunting and crying in his sleep. I feel horrible. I had an upset tummy this evening and I wonder if it's impacting him.

I'm up for the 3rd time. I have a bed in the nursery so I usually wake up with DS for the day but tonight I'm going back to the master and will nudge DH oUT of bed when DS wakes at 630 for good
