I tried on the JCrew version of these awhile back, made out of a suit-type material. They looked like they were meant for people who couldn't decide between working or taking a sick day, so tried both simultaneously. Even the JCrew sales woman was like "I don't understand these."

I just ordered these from ON for a version of what you were looking for.

They were under holiday wear so depending on the material I will prob try to wear them to work. Lol.

Ha ha. The ones at jcrew were full length with an elastic ankle. That is way worse. No elastic ankles with suiting!

I will confess that "faux wool" is freaking me out a little.
