Okish? His inflammation number is still a little elevated, so they decided to keep him for the full 14 day course of antibiotics. We should be released on Tuesday. But starting last night, he started to have low O2 numbers and they had to give him oxygen last night. At this time they don't think that it is anything to worry about (maybe the probe is shifting and is not giving a good reading), but they are going to follow up w/ the cardiologist to get her thoughts. It is always something!
ETA: He is so silly today. His IV is in his arm and they put a bright yellow sock on it, as it was scratching his face. He keeps pulling it up to his face and staring at it, which makes him go cross eyed. Silly boy!
Yes. But I haven't shared it with anyone. I just needed a cross reference between mmm and fb and IG. It doesn't have actual asterisks next to the HP haters / muggles.
Yes, we should all just be like @brie_2010 and keep our names involved. Instead I have 3 totally different aliases. Feel free to tell me who the person is with an adorable baby named James and a first initial J.

I should've made one; I'm so confused after the last round of friending.
I really do have one in my google docs, LOL. My memory isn't that good any more!
Sidenote: if anyone ever finds my google docs, they are going to be really confused.
@notquiteblushing are you getting a CVS or whatever? When will I know if this child has a penis?
I'm hoping to get the Materni21 or similar blood test for chromosomal abnormalities they can do so if my doctor does it at my 12/3 appointment I should know, hmm, circa Xmas?
lauren170, did you ever pick your DD up from daycare or did you just leave her all day?
I did have to pick her up. They were actually good though and let her stay through her afternoon nap. We went to the doctor that day, and they said it was likely teething, possibly a virus. They gave us a note for her to go back the next day but I actually kept her home the next day because she was not getting better and had my mom watch her. It was a huge favor from my mom. She does have two bottom teeth now though
@supergreen - was it you who had the birthstone stackable rings that broke? Did you ever get any response from the seller?
Yes that was me. I did hear back. She basically said "too bad, so sad." She only offers a 30 day warranty () and I was welcome to buy another ring at full price. I told her that was unacceptable, it had broken twice, and was clearly defective. I asked for more compensation. She never answered me. So it sits broken in my jewelry box
Boo on her. That's so frustrating - I'm sorry. But your new necklace is gorgeous! (That was you right? I'm so bad at second guessing my gbcn memory, lol.)
drloretta how is being a working mom going? Do you like the newish job?
Short story: It sucks, big time. But I got a new job!
Long story: I hate where I currently am. Absolutely no team mentality, lots of negativity, and for a company with Communications in their name, they can't communicate their way out of a paper bag. I had it out with one person already. So I sort of leaned in with my former boss, and in 2 days he created a WAH position for me. A drop in income, but the payoffs are going to be huge in terms of my personal life.
DD has been having issues at school, but I think they're not very related to me working again. We'll see if things turn around once I'm here more.

Yay about the newer job! I hope everything works out better with your daughter.

Thanks. I was really upset and am still pretty bitter. We don't have the money to fix it, hopefully we will at some point. And yes I just got a new necklace, the "loving family" with 2 parents and 2 kids. The very first thing with DD in it!
celiacmom can you give us an update on how the "extreme AP" lifestyle is going now that your son is older?
My son is now almost 3 (in January) and is doing awesome. He has become really independent. I'm lucky enough to run my business from home so he can be home with me. He has really bonded with my husband recently and will walk down the street to the park with him a few mornings a week. We are still nursing and bedsharing.
ssmjlm Yes. Still plan to be. We're all trying to be better, for DD's sake, and do the stuff you're supposed to do to make things work. Including putting DD in full time day care starting next week to give me some good stretches of uninterrupted time to catch up on my life.
zarapipe - how do really you feel about DD2's name now?
It's a name? Idk. Im refering to her as the baby mostly. It's weird when I call her hailey. I hope it will grow on me, I'm sure it will. The thing is I never really had a favorite bc they all got shot down and I didn't have time to fall in love with another so I'm not even sure what I would have liked to call her instead.

It should grow! It was always so weird to call my kids their names too! Even now, I can picture my DD with one other name but her name is totally "her" and doesn't seem weird at all

I hope he gets to come home soon! I actually read in some baby book shortly after I had J that they recommended putting a brightly colored sock on the baby's hand for them to look at and play with. Something to encourage them to explore. Sounds like he is having a good time with it!
I have zero gbcn memory. I feel like I've gotten so much less drama involved since having kids. Must be the Zoloft.
+1 only I don't have Zoloft to blame. I am the literal worst. The other day I paged Cloudbee and then I thought to myself, "I don't remember her posting in a while." So I checked. Yeah, last post was in January.....2013!

niq - how's the new gig going? (I think you've started already?)
It's good. The people are fun, the commute is shorter, and I'm paid more. There's broken stuff, but no more than most places (and way less than my last job) and people know it's broken an the company is interested I'm fixing it. There are some personality/political conflicts but I'm not a part of them yet since I'm new.
I won't really know how I feel for a few months, maybe even until late spring depending on the company calendar. But so far so good.
