I've been up with a teething Nolan for a few hours now.
The ad on Pandora just said, "Why are you still up? Try some relaxing Febreze scents." Yeah, sorry but I really don't think spraying my baby with Febreze is going to get either of us any sleep.
I am awake too. Lil shared her cold with me and I feel like poo, of course she woke up at 10:30 and came in with me. I was trying to sleep with my tiny bit of room and I couldn't breath so I just gave up and I'm sitting downstairs on the couch. All I want is my own space!
I hope Rhys does better the rest of the night for you .

Wouldn't it be magical if it did ? I wish they made baby sleep spray.
I'm up. Luke is asleep but his breathing is weird so in paranoid. It's rapid and he is making more noise than usual. H thinks I'm over reacting and is asleep

Does he have a cold? I would be paranoid too, I hope he feels better soon.
First night in Hawaii. It's only 11pm now, but I'm worried I'm up for a while. I passed out while cuddling C to sleep around 7:30 and just woke up ready to party. The 3.5 hours I've already gotten was more than I've slept in the past few nights, so I think my poor body is just confused.
C, luckily, is doing amazingly well with the time change so far. He slept a lot of the planes, took a two hour nap at local 2pm, and went down easily for the night. Fingers crossed that Hawaii has the same magical effect on yours, creamsiclechica!
bigapple Enjoy it!!! How long are you there for? Where are you staying? I'm so jealous! Hawaii is my favourite place on earth. Every time I've been I consider leaving everything behind to become a beatnik who has two or three wacky jobs and trades baked goods for slack key guitar lessons.

He does but not bad. He woke up from nap warm but then had Advil and was fine. I went out a little but got home he was burning up, rapid breathing. Gave Advil, we slept 12-2. Now at 245 he's shaking (seems like chills) and breathing fast again. Just gave Tylenol and inhaler. Waiting to see if it chills out bc I think the ER will say it's a fever causing the rapid breathing but h and I are debating on taking him in It's been about 5-10 min he's calming down not shaking and breathing normal again

Oh no. I hope he's ok. What's his temp right now?
102 before the Tylenol. He can't have Advil again until 5 He's asleep next to me and sounds normal right now

Poor guy. I hope he feels better this morning! Fevers are scary.

We're in Kona on the Big Island this week and then fly to Oahu for a few days. We're in a private house about 2000' up from the beach, so it's actually chilly here with the breeze. I love staying outside of the touristy area and seeing real life here. I want to move too!

Does he have an inhaler? I would not hesitate to use it if necessary. Hope he feels better!

we used his inhaler in the motn and once the tylenol/advil kicked in it helped... i'm almost positive the shaking and breathing was related to his fever but it was so scary. he still has a fever but is acting completely normal and has cabin fever already - at 9am- its going to be a long day

Too sick to go somewhere and not sick enough to just lounge around. The worst!
