eta: was it you in another post wondering what to do with it when you work out? I have a similar cut, and I use sweatybands (or bondiband if I want ears covered for outside). With mine the back is juuust long enough where I can get it into a stumpy ponytail for the warmer weather but this time of year a headband alone works fine.
Thanks everyone! I've had short hair before (but its probably been 7ish years) and I wish I would have re-chopped sooner. labbie - yes, it was me! The back is suuuper short - it goes right up to my hair line at the bottom, and the layers are only about an inch long. So no nubby ponytail for sure. The front can sort of go into a tiny half pony, but the short side falls out like crazy. So I'm thinking maybe bondiband + some clips for the longer side? I'll have to experiment.
For many months, I used hair wax to hold too short bits into half ponytails. Headbands didn't work great when the front of my hair was too long because the ends flopped down in an annoying way.
