My sister has a small business with custom little girls clothes and does a big holiday market each year and I always help work her booth. Today is the last day.
I've been trying to sit and walk around, not just stand, but by last night my ankles were literally the size of softballs! I drank a big bottle of water and elevated them, but this morning they're still swollen. This has never happened before!
Should I be concerned? I'm 4 hours from home, not trying to overreact, but it just seemed odd to still be so swollen
You guys are troopers! My ankles would start swelling occasionally if I was on my feet for a while around 25-26 weeks. Sitting helped, as did the compression socks. I also had a pair of really comfy boots that I wore with a slight heel that seemed to help too. I'd mention it to your doctor at the next appointment but otherwise, unless you are super uncomfortable, I don't think it's a big deal. That is really nice of you to help out!
