Staying at home? Going to family? Hiding from family?
We're doing thanksgiving next Sunday just the 3 of us because H is working on Thursday. I'm going to make a sweet potato turkey shepherds pie for him to bring with him.
a friend is having a few of us over for dinner. I think it will be 8 adults, 3 toddlers and a newborn. I'm looking forward to it being low key and nice.

My sister is hosting. I'm making a smashed potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, and desserts - pumpkin bars w/ cream cheese frosting, either pecan or berry pie squares, and chocolate pie.

Going North because it's our year with MY family. My favorite. We will do back to back Thanksgivings with my Dad's big family gathering and them a small one at my Mom's.
We are going to my parents (just 30 min away) and dh's family will be there too plus my aunt and her yorkie and my grandma and Ian's grandma, 2 of his aunts, and two if his cousins! I'm making mashed sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie

Thanksgiving is at our house this year. My parents will be here the whole day. We always do a big breakfast first. Then my brother should be coming over around 4 when he gets off work from the airport. Then Wes will leave for work around 4:30. I'm hoping we find that sweet timing so that everyone can eat together, but my brother may not be here yet. We will see.
I'm getting excited about it all now because I finally have my appetite back and am not feeling sick anymore!
We're going to my cousin's house. My parents, brother, brother's bf, and a few other aunts, uncles, and cousins. I'm supposed to bring a dessert. I'm hoping Emmie and I are out of the hospital and she's up to it by thanksgiving, otherwise it will be us two in the hospital.

Are they turkey free?
She's a vegetarian too, so my mom is on turkey duty.
We always always had it at my mom's but she just sold her house so she can't do it, and her and my stepdad are going to florida. So we don't have any plans on thanksgiving, we are having dinner at my dad's on Friday and H's family on Saturday.
Cooking for the three of us here. No guests. I almost invited my nanny family but we just don't have enough seating and I would have felt awkward. We are going to have so much food lol. When I went to the store this morning I found out I was qualified for a free ham or turkey, and since I already had the turkey I got a ham. My h wants to cook it but I might save it for the weekend.
FIL and MIL are coming on Wednesday night and I'm cooking. Turkey's already defrosting in the fridge. We have early Christmas with them on Thanksgiving the years we go to my mom's for Christmas.

We are not hosting this year for the first time in 5 years.
We are going to H's family because MIL is going for a bone marrow transplant days after and we don't know how long she will be in the hospital or recovering.
My H just got the day off which is exciting. We are going to my grandfathers where my aunt cooks. It'll be a couple aunts and uncles, my grandfather, my parents, two cousins and us.
