I have a Rubbermaid container full of purses that have been in there since we moved here a year and a half ago. We are moving in a month. I should donate them all right?

Yes. Donate. Unless there is something of value to you, get rid of it. We donated so much crap before our latest moving and it felt so good to not have to see all the old stuff collecting dust anymore.

I go through my bucket of purses at least once a year. I get rid of stuff I don't use. Usually I see if my sister wants it. If she doesn't I donate them.
Some of them are coach and Dooney & Burke that I received as gifts. I guess I can try to sell those or should I save them for my DDs for when they are older.
I don't know much about Dooney but Coach sells well on eBay. When I got into my LBB obsession I sold all of my Coach bags and wallets on there and made a pretty good amount!
I am very particular about bags and can usually tell within the first few days if it will work for me or not. If it doesn't I usually bag swap with friends or donate (the less expensive bags), or ebay the expensive bags.
Forever, unfortunately. I have a ton of high end bags, going back to when impractically small bags were all the rage (late 90s, I think). I keep thinking I will try to sell them on eBay but I've heard so many unpleasant stories about selling on eBay that I'm being lazy about it. At this point I may just hold onto them and give them to DD when she gets older.

I'd donate if you don't use them and they're not classics like Chanel. I wouldn't save D&B or Coach bags for daughters. TBH by the time your daughters are presumably old enough to carry them, they'll be out of date or they'll want their own. Donate and enjoy the extra space!
