I only have to work 2 days this week! But my co-teacher is out tomorrow. I'm hoping she'll be back on Tuesday.
My poor pup has kennel cough. He doesn't understand that he has to stay calm. Even going for a short walk to the mailbox and back set him off on a cough attack.

I only have to work two days this week, but those two days are going to be crazy busy/stressful. I'm helping plan a huge event we are having Tuesday, so I will be drinking heavily after it's all over that night.
I wasn't going to tell anyone but H, but I peed myself just a tiny amount the other night because I was coughing so hard. I walked out of the bedroom and told H and he just smiled and hugged me. I love that guy, but man. Pregnancy kind of steals your dignity. It doesn't help that this kid seems to think my bladder is a trampoline. Jerk.
H and I are watching Homeland from last week. We're a little behind.
I'm off work tomorrow and then just have to work Tuesday and a half day on Wednesday. I'm so excited to see H's family!
I drank so.much.sangria today. It turned out even better than I expected. My friend had to keep reminding me that we do, in fact, have to work tomorrow, even if it's just a 2-day week.
I picked up a part time job today. It will pay enough to cover Christmas presents for most of the family, I won't have to deal with people or the public while I do it, and it shouldn't take more than 2 hours or so a night.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at church today, and the hanging of the greens. It was really nice getting to spend time with everyone and to watch the kids decorate the trees.
ETA: I only have to work my FT job Monday and Tuesday, so far. The Sales Team for our company are trying to convince their customer to open on Saturday/Sunday so we can deliver (and so they can get bigger commission checks). I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Family movie night, we are watching Planes Fire and Rescue.
I am so excited for the week off. No school, no dance, no volunteering, no carpool. I have fun crafting and activities planned with the kids, and I am planning on getting some knitting and baking done too.
DD'S 7th birthday party was yesterday and it went so well. We had a lot of last minute cancellations due to the stomach no bug that is going around her school, but ended up with the perfect group of her favorite people. I cannot believe she is going to be 7. Crazy.
We are on our way back from the Broncos/Dolphins game. It was a hell of a game, but the Phins lost so I'm a sad panda.
Apparently dd started throwing up at my mom's shortly after we left so I have a feeling it's going to be a long night. I'm trying to decide if I want to stay home with her tomorrow or leave her home with h.

Only a two-day work week this week.
I am nervous about tomorrow because we are having high winds and snow in the afternoon, and I have almost an hour drive home from work. And the first snow of the year always makes people forget how to drive properly. Hopefully I can get home OK. Ugh I hate winter SO HARD.
Today was a sucky day. I pretty much had a breakdown this morning and really let it out since we found out about the miscarriage. I've had no physical symptoms since the d&c on Wednesday and haven't really even spotted, so it's all emotional. DH is so supportive. I feel like I'm crazy. It's one of those things emotionally that is fine... until it's not. Only two days of work this week, so I'm glad to have some time off.
I put in a new scentsy wax thing that smells like Christmas. Between that and sequins pregnant dog post from earlier, those are the bright spots of today.

Both of my kids had the stomach bug this week and the puking only lasts for 4 to 6 hours. It is like every 20 minutes for that stretch of time, but after that they were just exhausted and didn't eat much for several days.

That's good to know. Hopefully hers is that short too. I hate when my kids are sick.
