Total AW and TMI version ahead:
1. 40 weeks on Thursday!!! 2. I think I'm in early labor. I lost my mucus plug yesterday (thought I lost part of it Saturday, but no blood. Last night I had two streaks of EWCM-like strings on the TP, and then a HUGE clump of the same stuff about 20 min later. And I've been having back pain in the same rhythm contractions usually happen in. I hope this is it! 3. Cold Milk! Usually in cereal. No aversions besides coffee for about 2 weeks really early. 4. Hopefully home from the hospital!
2. We had our shower yesterday! It was so nice and there was lots of yummy food and good friends. We got our stroller (yay!) and a lot of clothes and and blankets and other assorted random little things. Somehow after it ended, I had tons of energy so we went shopping for more baby stuff. It needed to happen and I'm glad we got things done, but I am SO tired today.
3. Favorite: CINNAMON. I don't even think it's a craving anymore- at this point, it's like a basic biological need . Good thing it's Fall and cinnamon is in everything. I've had more aversions to smells than food- and weirdly, it isn't food smells that bother me, usually.
4. Hopefully we're going to my cousin's place in MA, but I heard this morning that we may get 9+ inches of snow. If that happens, it will obviously depend on road conditions. I'm really not interested in being stuck on the turnpike in a snowstorm if it gets really bad.
2. Rough pregnancy week here. Had a hard fall last week directly on my belly and was sent straight to L&D for monitoring. Baby is fine but it was scary. Also I've started having some sort of weird mid-morning blood sugar crash or something every day where I get really weak and clammy around 9 am. So...right now I feel like passing out at my desk.
3. Total sweet tooth this pregnancy. I can't eat large quantities of meat, only if it's mixed into something else like a casserole.
1. How far along are you this week? 5 weeks, 3 days
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I have my first doctors appointment on Thursday! It can't get here soon enough. I'm hoping she'll schedule my dating ultrasound, and if not I will be asking for her to do so. I finally heard back from the midwifery clinic and the woman who handles intake has been on vacation so I should be hearing from her by the end of the week with the pod I'm assigned to and an appointment date. Midwives in Canada don't usually start seeing you until around 10 or 11 weeks so until then I'll see my PCP.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? I wouldn't really say I have a favourite yet, but I've enjoyed frozen yogurt. No aversions. Although the smell of multivitamins makes me want to gag.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) Canadian lady here, so no.

1. How far along are you this week? 37w2d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I fell on Sat, landing right on my belly. Had to go to L&D for 4 1/2 hrs of monitoring. C is doing great and I actually was more annoyed than worried (I knew he was fine and I was supposed to be at a close friend's baby shower...and I haven't seen her since her wedding in 2006 since she lives about 4 hours away). Still fighting my cold too but feeling much better. Looking forward to seeing my OB tomorrow and my last day in the office! Maternity leave officially starts on Thursday!!
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? No real cravings but definitely an aversion to chicken. I couldn't even stand it the first 20 weeks and now only tolerate it (which is weird because it's typically all we eat meat-wise).
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) We are hosting at our house. There will be 13 people including us...all I have to do is cook the turkey and stuffing...everyone else is bringing the rest!

1. How far along are you this week? 27 weeks.. getting close to 3rd tri, holy crap! 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Baby has been much quieter the last few days and sometimes it worries me. I think he's just in a weird position because even when I do feel him, it's not making my stomach move. I wonder if he's facing my back instead of my front? 3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? My only aversion really has been raw red onions. The smell and taste drives me crazy. Other onions are fine, or if they're cooked. I've pretty much been eating as normal, nothing in particular stands out as a favorite other than fruit and apple juice! I could drink apple juice all day if it weren't so damn sugary! 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving? Just about an hour away to H's uncle's house. Luckily we're not crazy far from our families since I work Friday. H apparently doesn't now. I kinda hate him

What's with everyone falling?! Glad you and babies are ok Brie and luv2rn4fun! I'm super paranoid of falling with all the ice around here. Hope I can continue to avoid it!
1. I am 38 weeks tomorrow. I will celebrate this by packing my hospital bag (me being unpacked is seriously stressing J out).
2. I hosted Thanksgiving for my family yesterday. It was potluck, but I still did a lot of cooking, plus clean up. In hindsight, I wish I had just bagged it this year.
3. I am seriously addicted to ice, to the point that J went out and bought me a snow cone maker (and yes, my iron levels are fine). As for aversions, salads have pretty much lost their appeal throughout this pregnancy but I've still managed to eat them occasionally. Arugula, on the other hand, I want no parts of and that is my favorite salad green.
4. We are going to the in-laws on Thanksgiving, but they are less than 30 minutes away. Plus, I am off on Friday. I am ridiculously excited to have 4 days off in a row.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I'm completely exhausted. I overworked myself yesterday helping with laying floor and now I just want to sleep. Planning on today being an easy day.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Dairy. It's been a pretty constant craving. I only have aversions to one particular Chinese place in town. Sucks for DH because it is his favorite place. I can eat it from anywhere but that one place - I can't stand the smell of the food from his favorite place.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) Only like 30 minutes away. Thankfully our family is all local.
1. 21 weeks tomorrow! 2. My anatomy scan is tomorrow, and I can't wait!! 3. Chocolate milk has been my thing. I have also craved pepper and egg sandwiches and popcorn at various times. Right now, I am in a veggie stage, thank goodness, because practically all I ate for the first 20 weeks were starches and fruits. 4. Yes! Florida, here we come! Right now we have snow/sleet, so I can't wait to escape it!

1. How far along are you this week? 12w1d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We're debating leaking the news on FB this week...maybe on Thanksgiving.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? I love anything with MEAT! I've had a slight aversion to broccoli, but I still manage to eat it.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) We're headed to my brother's house, which is about an hour and 15 minutes north. Looking forward to the 4-day weekend!
1. 37w6d 2. I cannot wait to meet this baby. It's about all I think about. 3. I lost my taste for coffee for a bit and I've alternated between wanting to eat everything or wanting to eat nothing due to MS or heartburn, but for the most part have enjoyed the same foods as always. I did have a period where I wanted soup all the time, and fulfilled the pregnancy cliche by freaking out at my husband because I didn't get a pickle from Modmarket once and I blamed him. LOL 4. Nope! Just going to lunch w/ H's family and dinner at my mom's, but they're in town. So nice!
@astrid, I think the updated lingo is "37w = early term, 39w = full term, 41w = late term, 42w = post term". But the babe would no longer be considered a preemie!
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? 3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!)
1. 23 weeks! 2. My MIL told me not to bring anything for Thanksgiving dinner, which annoys me. I'm pregnant, not physically disabled. I know it's nice of her, but I love cooking/baking. I'm ready to host my own damn holiday dinner. 3. Ice cream. 4. Only locally, within an hour
1 25.5 weeks. Almost on to the 3rd trimester--when does that start? Week 27? Week 28?
2. I have my GD 1 hour test Wed. I'm hoping I pass. I have a regular appointment too. Hopefully it will be uneventful. I'm hoping I haven't gained a ton of weight. I'm a little worried about that.
My hips have started to get really sore and stiff when I am very active and then sit down. Not a fan.
3. I have been drinking orange juice like it's my job. But otherwise, my cravings and aversions are pretty much gone now. For a while I could hardly eat anything but toast and clementines and ice cream. I actually am less hungry than I normally am non-pregnant, so that's awesome.
4. Nope. We're hosting. 8 adults and a baby. Should be fun.

1. How far along are you this week? 24w6d 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? DH has gotten to feel her move several times his week. I love the look of awe on his face when he does. 3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Fave foods have been ethnic food (mexican, Indian). No real aversions. 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) nope, hosting family.
1. 6w5d 2. Saw the heartbeat last week! And I'm so glad to be a "normal" pregnant lady now without all the swelling from the ohss. 3. Favorites so far: pickles, grilled cheese with tomato soup. Aversions: eggs. But that started before I got pregnant, when I was finishing up my pre-IVF bcps. 4. Just to DFW, to my ILs. It's about a 3.5 hour drive.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I think I have run out of baby things to buy. So sad. What am I going to do with myself for the next month??
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Favorites:Grilled cheese sandwiches. Egg and cheese sandwiches.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) No traveling! We always host Thanksgiving.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Just chugging away. Feeling baby boy a lot more often now. I have a follow-up ultrasound next Monday to look at the brightness in his bowels, so I'm hopeful that it has gone down a bit.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Carbs. Anything involving carbs, but mostly bagels, toast, waffles.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) Yes, we are going to visit my ILs, who are about 6.5 hours away. Not looking forward to the drive!

1. How far along are you this week? 28w 1 d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Nothing much really. Planning on calling today to start the short term disability process. Oh, and H and I got our tdap shots yesterday. My arm is so sore, it made sleeping difficult!
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Bagels. Yum. First tri, definite meat aversion (well, chicken mostly since I don't eat pork or beef). It's better now, but I've never been a huge meat person anyway.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving? About 20 minutes away. My family goes out to eat.

1. How far along are you this week? Today is 35/35 for me!!!!! For some reason I've always wanted to be at *this* date. It's just fun, lol.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Not much, I'm off work for the week (mostly) but will work on the nursery some more and some crafty DIY things for bunny I hope.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? I was dieting prior to this so I have been able to eat all sorts of naughty things, lol. I've been really bad with my sweet tooth the last month or so. With the holidays coming...I'm in trouble! While I've still eaten it plenty, my beloved Mexican food just doesn't ever sound good for me. I also end up throwing up when I have it sometimes. I could live on tacos...I mean, I am Mexican so wtf, lol. 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) Yup! We weren't going to but after contemplating (and pouting since this is MY holiday to host normally) we decided to not do the whole, "let's spend alone as our last holiday just the two of us" thing and go home to Chicago. This holiday is way more important to us than Christmas and we want to be surrounded by family and friends so we're taking the drive. Luckily our snow storm is coming today and by Wednesday night I think roads will be ok for driving, unlike on the east coast.

Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) no!

Thank you estrellita, sju1982, and hainesherway! Mine was really stupid...I cleaned our laminate flooring with cleaner that made the floor slippery. Add the fact that I was wearing my snowboard socks and it was a recipe for disaster, hence why I was more pissed at myself than concerned about C (I had a feeling he was okay from the beginning but knew I had to go in for monitoring just in case). I thought it would be a quick 1 hour in-and-out but protocol is that you have to stay a minimum of 4 hours when you land directly on your belly (they are concerned about the placenta detaching from the uterus). Fun times...at least I got my maternity tour!?!? (this hospital only does a virtual tour).
Be careful ladies...I cannot imagine if I had to deal with snow/ice. I have been terrified of falling all pregnancy and now it's much worse (especially when walking down our stairs).
1. How far along are you this week? 17w1d 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We get to tell dh's aunt/uncle on Thanksgiving about the baby, they're pretty much the last ones to know. I feel bad holding out for so long, but it's nice to tell people in person. I think I'm starting to feel the baby kick, but I guess it could be gas. It's not something I've felt before, so I'm thinking/hoping it's baby. 3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? I like all food, lol. I've really been enjoying yoohoo lately. My grandma always had them for me when I would visit, and we're naming the baby after her. I never put those two together, it makes me smile. No real aversions, but sometimes things turn my nose that normally wouldn't. Recently was salsa, and I love salsa. But I seriously thought I was going to puke if I couldn't get away from the smell. 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) Just going to dh's parent's, they live in the town next to us, 10 minutes away.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? We're just about done with the nursery! I need to pick out a few prints and the curtains should here in a week or two. All we have to do is hang that stuff on the wall and I think we'll be done.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? I'm really enjoying sour candy. I haven't really had any aversions, but I couldn't eat my dinner that I ordered on Friday when it came out. The dish was fine, but something didn't smell right to me, so most of it came home for H to eat later.
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) We are not. Everyone is local, but we do have 3 meals to go to. Out to eat with the IL's for lunch and my parents for dinner. Then on Friday, we have the big get together with H's family.

1. How far along are you this week? 26 weeks, almost 3rd trimester! 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I'm down visiting my sister and have been spending a lot of time with my week old niece. She is adorable, but it's scaring me! How the heck am I going to do this in 14 weeks? 3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? Definitely carbs, not really into sweets which is a good thing. Ideally I'd like to have diet coke and chips and queso all day but of course that's not going to work! 4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving (obv US skewed - sorry non US ladies!) I'm about 4 hours from home in Houston since last Wednesday, staying until friday, so not big travel, but not at home. Safe travels GPers and happy thanksgiving!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? Someone finally noticed I was pregnant! Now to see if someone will give me a seat on the subway.
Also, in exactly 6 weeks I will have a baby! Woo! Baby may come sooner, but it will be no later than 6 weeks today. I can't believe it. I'm so excited.
3. What has been your favorite food to eat? Any aversions? No aversions. I have liked everything!
4. Are you traveling this week for Thanksgiving? Yes, going to my parents for the holiday and my baby shower. I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be the last time I travel before the baby comes.
