R: my MIL called H last night and asked him what size clothes I wear. I feel like I should be worried.
R2: we are officially switching from T-Mobile to Verizon. We managed to work out a better plan than we have now for the same amount we are currently paying and I get to upgrade my phone from S2 to S4 for FREE! And now...
AW: H asked me if I want the S5 active or Galaxy note4 for my birthday (in April).
V: I went and ate pizza last night and my stomach hates me today.
R-I got in the holiday spirit yesterday at the old navy sale. DS now has some adorable knit hats, a festive sweater and an adorable button down.
Aw-at my third laser hair removal session this am. Woo hoo! One more to go
V-moving on Friday. The last bit of packing and coordinating is a special kind of hell.
V#2-didn't sleep well last night. Went to bed late and got up early an feeling tore up. When I get home, I'm giving up and putting on sweats so I can work in comfort for the rest of the day.

R: Flannel fabric with girl superheros printed on it is seriously hard to find. Other than one Wonder Woman print, there is nothing. But Monster's High or Disney Princesses? Tons. The feminist in me is a little riled up. The mom in me who just wants options for making my daughter some girl power, superhero jammies is even more riled up.
AW1: My brother is home for the week! We haven't seen him since June, and I love having him home. Also, he's looking all man like all of a sudden. Hopefully that doesn't sound weird. I just mean, he doesn't look like my 13-year-old brother now. He's jumped in time to looking more like a grown man. He's still looks and dresses exactly the same, but he's filled out or something. It's a little weird.
AW2: I got so much accomplished this weekend. I cleared a bunch of projects out of my sewing room, and I can now see my sewing table and ironing board again.
V: Is it wrong to expect that DH take some responsibility in arranging whatever Thanksgiving gathering we are having with his family? I will fully admit that I am a little bitter my family celebration always has to wait until to Friday, and I just don't want to deal with it this year. Don't ask me what time people should come over. Pick a damn time and email everyone.

I have another. Not sure if it's R or V:
DH is home this week. (That part is AW - yay!) But he is totally throwing me off. I'm sitting here in my jammies drinking coffee, folding laundry, and watching Gilmore Girls. Totally normal for a school morning while DS is sleeping. But DH is sitting at the table drinking coffee and reading. I feel like he's judging my morning routine.

R: I haven't gone grocery shopping yet and I am hosting my first ever thanksgiving... yeah, I'm screwed. AW: DH is off Wednesday through the weekend. V: It's pouring outside and we are supposed to have a snow storm tonight. I just want lightly falling fluffy white flakes.

No way! You got this I actually find it easier to shop in one fell swoop for a big meal like that. The stores have everything out too so you can get it done fast!

Hey, you are way ahead of me. I don't even know what we're doing for Thanksgiving. I should be going to California to be with my family but it didn't work out that way.

He probably is. The other day DH was home in the morning. I dropped DD, put DS down for a nap and climbed back into bed with hot coffee to watch grey's anatomy. He just kept walked by the door peeking in...Oh well. lol
Vent: I have to baby proof my house because DS is into EVERYTHING. DD barely touched anything so it was easy. Now I have a huge slab of wood in front of the fireplace (because I caught him peeking into it) and my dining rooms chairs are blocking both entrances of my dining room instead of sitting around the table.
AW: I made a new wall hanging for my dining room and I am in love with the burlap and plaid combo I picked. Also DH finally hung my picture gallery in there so I feel like the dining room is finally not the ugly stepchild of my house.
AW: I have a baby sitter coming tonight so I can go to costco ALONE. The thought of it is so exciting. Then I am going to meet DH for dinner.
Random: I just ate leftover chicken enchiladas for lunch from the other nights dinner. Why does food have to be so good when I need to lose 20 lbs....
Just realized I did that all out of order...whoops

R- I went to DD's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool today and I have a new respect for anyone who works in early childhood education. 45 minutes with 16 3 year olds and I was ready for wine.
AW- I finished 2 out of 4 of my classes for this term in less than 6 weeks. I have 6 months to finish all of them. This means I get to work ahead and accelerate my program.
V- I'm so tired of DH's work taking up his days off. He is not salary but they pile up so much work he can't possibly get it done during work hours. He might switch companies and I am hoping he does.

Vent: My friend from HS called off her wedding a few weeks ago. There was a group of 6 of us who used to be really close. Anyway, she's always been one of those people who puts an enormous amount of pressure on herself. No one has heard from her since the day after she called off the wedding, we're pretty sure she's spiraled into a bad depression because that would be huge for anyone but she's always been the type of person who completely collapses at the idea of not having a perfect life. I wish I could help her but we live in different states now and even if I wanted to go and sit in her living room with her (which I do) I don't even know where she's living now since she moved out of the house she shared with her FI. Our friend spoke with her mom who says she calls every few days but no one really knows much else. It just sucks, I wish I could be there for her more.

R: I was a hypocrite and took DD to see Santa today, before Thanksgiving, because DH had the day off and I knew there would be no line. I am not sharing the picture on facebook for another week or two because I don't even want to encourage the early Christmas stuff.
AW: Before Santa, I made myself go for a run in the freezing rain. Now it's snowing so I'm really glad I did. Plus I had French fries and a beer at lunch, so I needed it.
V: My SIL suggests going in on family photo books every year and then she makes these monstrosities on shutterfly that are over $100 each. I just texted her (we're making it now but haven't ordered) to tell her my absolute max is $50 for our portion, including shipping. I know I shouldn't complain since she does most of the work but she's very type A and my help is not wanted or accepted, so I step back instead of making changes that she will go and change again. I need to remember this next year and say no, but I fear we've created "a tradition." But I don't need 50 pages!!!!

This is our life with DS as well. I think we locked a couple of cupboards and put a gate up at the bottom of the stairs for DD. For DS we have three baby gates, all the cupboards locked, have put our coffee table in the attic, and unless we are sitting in them, all dining chairs are locked up in the kitchen because he climbs them like he is tackling Mt. Everest.
I have another HUGE AW: DS put 2 words together as we were leaving the house this morning. "Go bye bye." That's the first time he's done that! And 2 weeks ago we were sitting in EI's office getting him evaluated for speech services. Guess he just needed a little more time. God I love his little voice. :-)

I hope you find something relaxing to do! I did my grocery shopping tonight, so I am feeling a lot better, maybe even excited about the day.
