I spent all of yesterday in bed barfing, it was awful. This morning I'm feeling a little better. I haven't eaten since dinner sat night. I've had some water.
What do you eat/drink when you're sick? DH stayed home yesterday because I couldn't take care of the kids but I need to get over this so he can go to work today.
Oh no, I am so very sorry. Stomach bugs are horrendous. When I am sick like that, I just sip water (and by sip, I mean tiny sips) to avoid triggering more vomiting. If it feels like stuff will stay down, then I try saltines, slightly burnt toast or warm chicken broth. I hope you feel better!!!

I drink gatorade if I'm worried about getting dehydrated. I try to eat things like saltines, plain waffles... Can you put on a movie and try to lay on the couch? I know, easier said than done.

This exactly. Feel better! Puking and bad migraines are the ailments that make me beg DH to stay home.

Mrs Grass noodle soup, grilled cheese. If you have some Gatorade or Pedialyte around those wouldn't be a bad idea, but water works just fine. Feel better.
Ginger ale or flat Pepsi always seems to help settle my stomach. Also a fan of red Gatorade.
As for food, saltines, plain cheerios, rye toast, chicken noodle soup (or just chicken broth), goldfish crackers, applesauce and bananas are my go-to stomach bug foods.
We are just getting over the stomach bug here. I'm tackling the mounds of laundry today & very thankful DS didn't get it at 4 months old. For us, Gatorade, flat ginger ale & sprite in small sips. Chicken broth, ramen, jello, and crackers once the vomiting stops. We keep with bland(er) food for a day or so after. I hope you get better quickly. Ours only lasted a couple of days once each person went down & we weren't all down at the same time. Lots of bleach & Lysol too!

Oh, I am so sorry. I have been so lucky thus far to hold out until DH was home to get really sick. I agree with the advice to sip broth, juice, or something like Gatorade. I would set the TV up and teach DD to press the continue button on Netflix in all honesty. Or if you have a friend or relative who could help out for a couple hours, call them up and see if they can come to you.

Red Gatorade and saltines. Nothing else until I'm reliably keeping those down, and as a bonus, they're not too unpleasant to throw up . Sorry you're feeling so terrible!
