I'm in the market for a new bag, and I see a lot of them have a crossbody option. If you have one of these, do you actually wear it crossbody? I don't think I see many people wearing it this way.

Yes but not all the time. I do it more when I have my hands full and I don't want to carry something on one shoulder. I did it a lot when my DD was little and I needed to hold her hand when we were out.
Whenever I need to make sure my bag stays put. It's really helpful shopping at BJs so I'm not constanting trying to keep my bag on my shoulder while picking up heavy things.

Yes. More than I wear it on my shoulder, especially if I'm out and about in the city.

Yes, in fact all I want are cross-body bags and I wish there were more out there. A lot of times when it says it's cross body, it only comes to, like, my waist when worn that way, which is annoying.
It's just so easy for me to do cross body. I hate carrying a bag and I feel like when I wear them on one shoulder, they often slip off.

I have the opposite problem....cross bodies always hang almost to my knees. I always look for purses with an adjustable strap.

No. The only time I ever have is when I'm getting off an airplane and the aisle is crammed with people waiting to deplane. But even then, I usually just kind of hold it in front of me while it's on my shoulder, as opposed to wearing it crossbody.
I think this has a lot to do with the size of my bags, because I feel like technically they're just too big to wear that way. I don't wear small bags (or even medium) but sometimes the shoulder strap is really long so I can if I want.
Not usually. I have 2 bags with a crossbody-or-not option and the crossbody option changes the shape of the bag and makes it hang funny. The one that is only crossbody (kind of saddlebag-shaped) doesn't have this problem. All my other bags are either hobos which I carry on a shoulder, or satchels which I carry in the crook of my arm or in my hand.
Hells yes! My crossbody bags get a lot more love than non-crossbody ones. They are great for everyday errands.
Ditto this! I loved when in Chicago so that I could have my hands free when riding on the train, etc. But even now I find I love them for errands and every day where when I walking a lot
Yes. I have so many bags with shoulder straps collecting dust in my closet. I have 4 crossbody bags of varying sizes and that's all that I ever wear anymore. With two young kids it's just so much easier.
