Me too. But apparently Acuvue has standardized pricing on Oasys lenses (which I wear), which takes a lot of the cost benefit out of ordering online. Somebody posted on here about it within the last couple months.

There was some discussion a while ago about contact prices being standardized across the board. I think the manufacturer stopped allowing some deep discounting that was happening online.

I use VisionDirect also, and I believe it was earlier this year that they standardized the cost of contacts. So VisionDirect sent me an offer for free shipping plus a $50 Restaurant.com gift card. I didn't order since i didn't need any, but I thought it was a cool solution since they couldn't lower the prices.

Hmmmm...I'm scratching my head at the standardized pricing. I was contact shopping recently (I wear biofinity lenses) and I found huge variation. I ended up ordering from Lensmart this time...they were 20 bucks per box cheaper than 1800contacts, and I saved an additional 7% through ebates.
I always order from 1800contacts. I frequently find my lenses (Biofinity) cheaper elsewhere, but they will price match any website and beat the price by two percent. They have awesome customer service, even replacing lenses I tore myself upon opening the package. I did read about Acuvue brand standardizing prices earlier this year, but you can still shop around for other brands.
