Done. I took this this morning. Poor Dot shakes so badly these days that every photo is blurry. But look how cute she is in her sweater! (She just woke up in this photo, so that explains the dumb facial expression. LOL)
Bandit, the bunny, had some drama recently. He's been peeing outside of his litter box for a while, but I thought he was just being bad. A few weeks ago, he was acting "off" and peeing all over his cage (almost like it was leaking out). I took him to the vet and they said he had bladder stones that needed to be surgically removed and quoted me almost $2k for the surgery. I ended up going to another vet, a specialist, actually, who did the surgery for much less money and now Bandit is doing great! He's healing well, but did NOT like all the antibiotics I had to give him (via syringe).
OMG, bunny surgery. That's the sweetest thing; bunny in a blanket </3 I'm glad that you got out of the vet for less than $2K and that Bandit is feeling better.
This is a picture of our new guy. He had just finished eating and still had food schmeared all over his mouth, but that was no reason (to him) not to get snuggles.
He's 7 and very well behaved. He loves to run (we chase each other through the house and he goes on long walks up and down the street), he loves to play, but he also loves snuggles. He can't get enough snuggles, and is very calm for snuggle time.

I'm not a regular here but I thought I'd share my cute pup. My mother allows this bad behavior of sitting at the dining table at her house. He'll just sit in a chair and watch us eat and talk.
wineenthusiast, he sits so politely! What excellent table manners. Better than some of my family members!
lol. He really does sit politely. He normally sits with his back against the chair and just cocks his head looking from person to person as if he actually understands us. We have 5 dogs in the family and hes the only one with "table manners".
When a foster leaves, our two resident dogs get back to their regular nap schedules pretty quickly. We opened up one of the lower cabinets on our dining room built-ins for the "hound hole." In our old house, it was one of our closets. Charlie, the Bluetick, likes to cozy up into small spaces.

Deceptively adorable, all tuckered out from a long day of wiggling out through a hole in the back fence and leading me on a chase all around the neighborhood...

Oh, look! A combo of cute (Dot in a sweater AND having dragged her bed halfway down the hall to take advantage of the sunlight from the bathroom window):

Wow. I'm always blown away by smart dogs. Mine are just.so.stupid. It would never occur to either of them to drag their beds anywhere. Or perhaps, like my husband, they have learned that if they play dumb and give me a helpless look, I end up doing everything for them. I actually think I might be the dumbest entity in our house.
Don't give her too much credit. It took her all morning to get it there, mostly because she kept standing on it while trying to move it, then knocking herself over. She's definitely not the brightest bulb in the box, but she likes her comforts.
