Before we left OOT on Thursday, I had a housecleaning service come over so I could come home from our trip to a clean house.
I had to be at work, so DH let the cleaner in and came home after to grab our luggage. He told her everything looked great and she left.
I just got home on my lunch break and the floors weren't done. At all. I don't think she mopped and I know she didn't vacuum because I can see the dog hair on the carpet. There is dog hair under the couch and the kitchen table, too.
I can't complain to the company since DH told her it looked good, right?
ETA: I went straight from the airport to work this morning, so I didn't see the house until now.
Yes you can complain. I don't know why you wouldn't (?)
ETA: I'm slow. I just realized your DH told her it was ok. I would definitely still complain. Just tell them that your DH didn't notice the floors hadn't been done and wouldn't have given her the OK if he had realized it at the time.
I'd complain. She shouldn't have left without doing the floors unless you or your H specifically said, "we do not want you to clean the floors or vacuum."
Did you pay her to do the floors? I mean, do you pay by job or by hour?
2.5 hours for a small 1 bedroom condo.
I'm being pedantic, I know, but I'm just wondering if it was understood, that she'd do the floors. Sometimes my cleaning lady asks what we want done, and if we want less done, she charges less (duh).
In this case, if the understanding was simply "2.5 hours for a one-bed condo," then yes, I would complain.

I wouldn't call it a complaint necessarily, since your DH did ok the job she did, but there is absolutely no reason why you couldn't/shouldn't call up and say that he didn't notice the floors weren't done when he approved of the job and that in the future that's something you consider part of the routine cleaning and expect to be done (or, alternatively, that it's the reason you won't be using the service any more, if you choose to go that route instead).
Call and ask where you can email a list of the chores you want during the cleaning.
I have a section I can put in comments when I book. It is usually: Basics (kitchen, bathroom) Change Sheets Vacuum couch if visible dog hair (I try to do this before since I know it does take a good 10-15 minutes)
and this time I put if she had time, to wipe down the fridge.
