So I'm just over three weeks post-m/c. I went in on the 6th for a blood draw to check my numbers and they were in the 900s. I had a "natural" m/c so they want to follow my hcg levels down to 5 to make sure I haven't retained any tissue. I had another draw last Thursday and found out my levels were at 12.4. I was realllllllyyyyy hoping that I could avoid a third blood draw but nope. Sigh. I'm just ready to put this whole sucky process behind me.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I was in the same situation with a natural mc and multiple blood draws. I ended up having 5 or 6 total. So annoying. And I had to pay $50 for each one, literally less than 5 seconds for each draw. Hang in there. Hope your next one is your last one.
Ugh, I am sorry. I went through the same thing - once a week for like 6 weeks. The phlebotomists had started to recognize me which made it worse. I wanted to move on, but there I was every week for the same thing.
Can you wait another week or so to make sure it really is the last one? With mine, I noticed that every week it would have dropped by 50%; I should have told them I'd go every other week but I naively hoped that things would have moved along faster.

You can totally whine - I had to do the same thing, probably went for 4 or 5 weeks, and it sucked. It just makes everything feel so drawn out when you are just wanting to move on, and, I at least, got to pay $40 each week for the pleasure. Suck! Hopefully this is your last one and you can finally move on. Hugs!

Ugh this is not what I wanted to hear! I have been going every other week, but my H is switching employers and so December we'll be on different insurance and thus our deductible will start over. :/ So I can risk getting a draw only a week later (actually one day short of a full week because of Thanksgiving) and pay $12.33 or I can push it back a week and pay $102.71. Damn those are sucky options.
