1) What's your favorite Thanksgiving Food? Turkey, dirt cake
2) What do you plan on drinking the day of - any good wines? I haven't gotten anything. I may need to stop at the ABC store tomorrow.
3) Are you hosting or letting someone else do all the work? I'm staying home, possibly going to a restaurant with my parents.
4) Will you be participating in any of the Black Friday madness? If I had someone to go with I would, but everyone is leaving me!
5) What are you going to wear to Thanksgiving dinner? I have no idea... Like I said, I don't know that I'm going anywhere. I do plan to decorate the tree... Maybe PJs all day?
Let's liven things up a bit with a Thanksgiving poll
1) What's your favorite Thanksgiving Food? The last few bites where everything is mixed together. I may or may not stack my food on my plate in such a way to get all the food to mix together.
2) What do you plan on drinking the day of - any good wines? I have a bottle of a red blend that I'm looking forward to opening. It's a Sangiovese/Syrah blend. I also like to do a champagne with pomegranate arils added, the bubbles make the arils float up and down. Add a bit of POM to it, and it's awesome.
3) Are you hosting or letting someone else do all the work? I was planning to host, but we were invited to SS#1's ILs, so we're going over there on Thursday, and I'll still be cooking for some friends on Saturday. That way we still get leftovers.
4) Will you be participating in any of the Black Friday madness? Maybe? There are a couple of specific items I saw in a sales flyer that I want to check out, but they are all at the base Exchange, so I'm hoping the crowds will be a little more manageable than the crowds at the mall.
5) What are you going to wear to Thanksgiving dinner? Something stretchy and flowy. Pajamas? Probably my High-waisted Jeggings from American Eagle (sooooo comfy!) and a tunic with boots.
1) What's your favorite Thanksgiving Food? My mom makes potato leak soup that is amaaaaazing. And stuffing. Ooooh, and her homemade cranberry sauce/relish. I eat that as dessert in the days after.
2) What do you plan on drinking the day of - any good wines? Probably. My mom has some good stuff in her wine fridge. There will probably (definitely) be ruby red grapefruit margaritas before that.
3) Are you hosting or letting someone else do all the work? My mom is hosting, but since I live there I will be put to work, sous chef style. I actually like cooking things for Thanksgiving though. I usually brine a second turkey but since I don't have my own oven this year, I'm not doing it. Last year I brined it in Manischewitz. It was delicious, and hilariously purple before I put it in the oven. A few years ago I bought a dozen HUGE turkey legs and brined and cooked them. This will be the first year in 7 or 8 years that I'm not making my own turkey
4) Will you be participating in any of the Black Friday madness? No. Nothing about that is appealing to me.
5) What are you going to wear to Thanksgiving dinner? We're a super casual family. I'll be in jeans and a t-shirt. I might remember to take my apron off before we start eating, lol.

1. I love it all but especially the carbs
2. Probably a Malbec
3. I am a freeloader at my friends house - I'll help where I can. When I get home I am going to make my own stuffing and sweet potato casserole-just for me.
4. Absolutely no Black Friday shopping - online all the way.
