kandrze1 still thinking of you guys - how is recovery going?
Thanks for the thoughts! She's doing pretty amazing. Her head is a little swollen and so is her eye, but I noticed today the eye swelling was going down. Attitude wise she's doing great. A little whiny, but honestly if I was her I'd be laying in bed all day. I don't know how she acts totally normal with a little Tylenol three days after such a crazy surgery.
Her scar is a little scary looking right now, and it was sad at Thanksgiving her oldest cousin was kind of hesitant to play with her. He told me it was because he didn't want to see her head. It made me sad, but she doesn't get it and they ended up playing fine.
The big thing is infection for the next two-six weeks. She'll see the surgeon in two weeks and if her wound is looking okay they will let her out and about more I guess. For everything she's been through she's doing fantastic. She's actually in her big girl bed for the first time tonight!

Such wonderful updates! I have shed so many tears for E and you and I'm thrilled with her recovery! You are both so strong and resilient! I am so proud of both of you.
