Why are tuxedo cats such assholes? Mine is also Velcro to me, and she's a noisy pain in the neck.
God, I love her.
And welcome! It's nice to see you over here.
Yes! My tuxedo was such a talker--more than any other cat I've had. He was also pretty much a one person cat. He had me and that was enough for him.
I miss him so much, and he died 8 years ago.
DH and I had a tuxedo cat we named Wiley, short for Wile E. Coyote. He was a talker, too, and he'd walk on the coffee table between DH and I to get pets. We only had him for about a year and a half before he got out (it was a constant battle to keep him from getting out whenever we opened the door), and since we live in a rural area, it was very unlikely that he was going to survive out there for very long. That was almost 4 years ago, and we still talk about what a good cat he was and how much we miss him. We're hesitant to adopt another one, because we figure that we've used up all our cat-luck on Wiley and our younger one.

My tux rarely ever makes a peep (except she chatters at the birds outside). My other 2 don't shut up...ever. Siamese are soooo chatty!
To me that's the best part about having a Siamese kitty. Mine is surprisingly quiet for a 'mese. She pretty much only chatters when you giving her unexpected pets (i.e. attention she isn't explicitly mooching for) and wants to talk about the quality of those pets. LOL!

LOL if I talk to mine they talk back. My old one makes conversation tiny meows which get loud when food is involved. My young one's actual meows sound like a newborn kitty squeak. Her usual sounds are more like a "pprrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrttttt" with a rolling R. It's hysterical.
