DD SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT !!!!! That deserves all caps.
I, of course, slept like shit- but I'm so glad she STTN. It's probably just a fluke & has nothing to do with the changes we made last night, but I don't care.
It rained so much yesterday my street is flooded, but people still insist on hauling ass down it which sends a nice tidal wave of water towards our house.
I'm working today! But daycare closes at 1pm so I'm making it a half day. I'm planning to spend the afternoon prepping t-day foods and/or binge watching Veronica Mars. Hopefully DD is okay with that plan.
I'm off today, but daycare is doing a Thanksgiving lunch, so I'm going to that and bringing DD home after it. While she's at daycare this morning, I'm going to the mall in search of new bras and hopefully relaxing a little bit, too, because I feel super burnt out right now.

DD STTN which I SOOOO needed after getting up 4 times the previous night. It's only 4:30 and I'm wide awake. Haha. Yay for good sleep. I'm hope she isn't the only kid in her class at daycare today. I already feel kinda bad about dropping her off since I'm not working.
I'm at work until 330p. I think I'm going to ask my 3pm patient if they want to come at 215 instead so I can bounce out of here a little earlier and go boil eggs for tomorrow's deviled eggs before I pick AJ up at the sitter's. Oh, and so I can stop at the store for wine and Bailey's. Priorities, ya know.
Soon we'll be loading a billion and one things for one night away. That's the only annoying thing about this Tday set up. We have to take bedding and towels and everything we need. Once we get there we don't leave.

My DH asked me if he could work late tonight... He thought was sister was coming tonight. She's not, tomorrow, but still. Super busy day here.
Toddler library time then off to H's preschool's activity. Since we have newborn and just my sister, it's going to be a low-hey holiday and DH is working Friday, but I'll have help and my sister is great with the boys.
I do wish we were having a big thanksgiving with travel, oh well, maybe next year.
I have been up since 4:30 since N decided he was no longer tired and wanted milk and eggs. I went to bed at 12:30, after going out for drinks with a friend, so I feel like shit and am scheduled to volunteer today from 10-3. It's not work, but I'll definitely be busier than I would at work. I made DH give me 1/2 of one of his adderall to get me through the day. It's already kicking in & making me feel slightly better.
I have plans to bake 3 pies tonight, too, and I haven't shopped for the ingredients yet. That will be a fun adventure, I'm sure!
our electricity has been on and off since 7pm last night. we've all slept horribly because of it. our current return is estimated for 9:30am. good thing h goes to a dirty, sweaty job and doesn't need to shower. good thing I have no shame and will drag R to Starbucks in my "workout clothes" (aka: pajamas) for a hot drink and free wifi? lol
I get to work today then go to Costco. Oh, and the snow is supposed to be the worst while I am driving from work to Costco. I am looking forward to tonight.
Hope everyone is OK from the crazy weather moving through. It's raining here and I almost got into an accident in my neighborhood - some boob decided he was just going to get in his car (parked on the street) and pull into traffic without looking in his mirrors. Thank God I have the reflexes of a cat (and DS wasn't with me). It was a Miata so I would have crushed him.
My cell phone has finally given up the ghost, almost 2 years to the day I got it. I'll be stopping at Verizon on the way home to purchase a new one. Happy Thanksgiving to ME.
I have to work. But not that hard today, ha! I have my GD test at lunchtime and we'll let everyone go at 3 for the holiday.
I think I got enough house prep done that I'm not freaking out anymore. My mom should get here about the time I get home from work and DH said he would do all the vacuuming today.

You are a brave, brave lady.
I'm only going in for a closing at noon. My closing isn't far from Costco. We are out of coffee and I thought about buying a shrimp cocktail for tomorrow, but I am trying to decide if that's worth trying to avoid getting trampled at Costco.
I hit the trifecta of DS awesomeness this morning. 1. He STTN, 2. Until 7:30 (!!), and 3. Waited for me to come get him to use the potty. He said "no use diaper, go potty!" My awesome big boy!!!
I got the green light from DH to spend money at the SKR sale! Hopefully I can snag some good deals. I think this is the first time in my life I've prepped for a specific sale that starts at a specific time. I normally just buy what I want, when I want. I hope the SKR site doesn't crash.
I'm working. Hoping for a quiet day today because I have lots to do. (So obviously I'm on GBCN. Priorities)
We have a half day, but I might stay a little late if it's actually productive because next week is going to be hectic. And DH is getting the boy from daycare, which never happens, so I can actually stay late instead of rushing off for pick up.
Daycare has a Thanksgiving feast today and DH is going. I'm jealous!
Also, daycare said DS has been wagging his finger at everyone and shouting 'NO!'. I have no idea where he got that... but it's adorable. For now. Ask me at the end of this long weekend.
I cleaned my closet and the chest I store my running clothes in on Monday-purged a bunch of stuff I haven't worn in ages, unearthed stuff I had been looking for but couldn't find, and switched out all my running/workout tanks and shorts for my long sleeved tops and capris/long tights. It's like I've got a whole new wardrobe! I may have spent part of my drive to work today planning what I was going to wear tomorrow.
This indeed! Just finished the turkey brine over here. Letting it chill for a while and going to start on homemade rolls once the baby goes down for morning nap.

Tell me about this sale. Is it on Friday or Monday?
I couldn't sleep in so I spent part of the morning cleaning out our office. For a room anyone barely uses it has a lot of crap in it. I'm debating trying to put a daybed in there for guests (not that we get many).

Working a short day today, woot!
Would someone please link the Pioneer Woman mashed potatoes recipe that everyone is raving about? I used the Google and came up with multiple results. TIA!
Also working today. Hopefully let out early, we'll see. Thankfully I'm feeling much better.
HOWEVER C's stupid cough that never fully cleared is getting bad again and I have to try to get him into the pedi today. I already am annoyed I had to take a sick day for myself yesterday and I asked H last night if he could possibly take C in today. His response was "if I have enough advance notice." Dude. Sick kids don't exactly schedule their illnesses around your life. Also, you are salaried and don't have to worry about taking PTO. The more I think about it the more annoyed I get.
DS and I went to Friendsgiving last night, DH was working. DS ended up being dressed up by 2 five year old girls in random hats and a tutu. It was hilarious.
At dessert time, he asked me if he could have some and I said no because we needed to get going, it was well past his bedtime. He proceeded to go over to the kitchen table, get in a chair, and sit quietly while others ate their dessert. I didn't notice it until 2 friends told me to look. He had his feet tucked underneath him and was sitting like a little angel. Needless to say he got his slice of cheesecake and we stayed a bit longer. He's a determined little bugger! He then cleaned his place, which the host (who has a boy 6 weeks older than DS) thought was the most charming thing ever. I told her he's been doing that since about 18 months old and she stared at me in disbelief. At least he's compliant in one area
I'm exhausted. DD2 cried every 45 minutes last night. All she needed was a pacifier reinsertion and she'd go back to sleep, but I struggled to fall back asleep. I think this is the start of the 4 month wakeful.
