I told brother's FI that I would make the jewelry for her and the 4 BMs(I am one of the BMs) for the wedding at the end of March as our wedding present.
Now that the reality is setting in and I have all most of the materials ordered, I think I need someone to hold me, pat my hair and tell me I can do it.
BM's jewelry Necklace in 2 different silvers and jet (we are all wearing black dresses)
She liked the mock up earrings I did for her and wants them for the BMs (jet, silver and hematite - too coordinate with the bracelets)
And lastly, these earrings for the bride in ivory or cream. (I will likely make them since bride is on the fence and I don't really want to have to make them the night before the wedding in case she decides she wants them.)
How long does making a necklace take? IIRC you talked about it taking awhile?
Earrings I can do 1 pair in about 1-1.5 hours (depending on whether I have to pay attention to what I have streaming on my computer ) so could get this done in 1 week.
Bracelets I can also 1-1.5 in a night. So another week project.
BM necklaces? Not sure. I haven't made that particular pattern but I would think 2 hours per necklace is a good estimate. So maybe finish over the course of 2 weeks.
Bride's necklace? This one will likely take several weeks. Probably can get the netting done in 1-2 weeks but then will need another couple of weeks for the fringe.
