We spent yesterday with our friend and celebrated an early thanksgiving since our friend has to work tomorrow. We had an amazing meal and a lot of fun
Tomorrow we are drinking and relaxing all day long. We went to try grocery store today and will prepare stuff today but I can't wait to get drunk and relax all day tomorrow.
We are having lunch with H's family and dinner with my family. The rest of the weekend is full of family events since I have family flying in this year. There will be alcohol involved.

Going to Costco to buy supplies for my Saturday Thanksgiving, taking the dog for a follow-up appointment (colitis), watching the Eagles (hopefully) and talking to my family via FaceTime.

Baby steps. Last year was the first time in 5 yrs that H joined us for Thanksgiving since his dad died. It was just us and the kids. Turned out great. This year we have also invited my dad. Next year hopefully my aunt as well.
It's just H and me tomorrow so I'm doing a beef roast, mashed potatoes, green beans and we're watching football. I have snacks lined up for that.
Friday we're hosting our family Thanksgiving dinner. This is an Ohio State household. We'll be tuned in to the game, we only live about 15 minutes west of Ohio Stadium but we'll watch on TV. Ticket prices are just too $$$ for me!
On Sundays we're a Cleveland Browns household and we'll be watching the Brownies, I don't think they have a bye this week.

We are having thanksgiving with my parents and grandma at my parents campsite. We are doing half of the fixings and they are doing the other half. Hoping it works out. I'm a bit concerned about transferring stuff from our place to theirs.
Everyone will be at my house at 3:00, dinner somewhere between 4-4:30. We eat dessert pretty soon after dinner so my goal is to have these fuckers (i.e. lovely family members) out of here before 8:00! Then I'm having a turkey sandwich and getting drunk.
We are having dinner with friends. My plan is to sleep in and finish up the 2 dishes I'm making. The plan is to have a low stress, kicked back kind of day.
Tomorrow dinner with ILs. Then boys are staying at Ils. We are going to the Iowa v Nebraska on Friday. We had a huge group and it has dwindled down to H and I. H is also not feeling well so hopefully I am not last man standing.
My dad's sister always hosts Thanksgiving, so I'm driving to NJ for that in the morning. Last year, there were 15 people and 12 pies. I like that ratio.
Thor works tomorrow (boo), so we're doing makeup Thanksgiving with his folks on Sunday.
I'm on my way to Foxwoods Casino for a non-traditional holiday. Tomorrow will be sleeping in, craps and roulette, lunch and then hitting the road so that we're back home by late afternoon.

It is also DH's birthday. Pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Then going to my parents' where 40 something people will gather and stuff ourselves silly. Bringing pumpkin soup and birthday cake.
Waking up, watch the parade (my fav!) then driving to my parents. We have no thanksgiving plans but just to spend time together. My grandmother just died this week and thanksgiving (and the cooking) always happened at her house. We are all a bit too out of it to do anything.
(Philadelphia) Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning, sister and BIL's house in the afternoon/for dinner, where we will also watch the Eagles game and probably Christmas Vacation at some point, like every year.
We're doing alternative turkey day - we leave at 6am to go to the British Virgin Islands for 10 days. Late thanksgiving will happen when we get back with a big dinner for a couple friends and my mom.

Lazy morning with the parade on. At some point, I'll cook dinner for the four of us (turkey, stuffing, gravy, roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, cornbread, cranberry sauce, apple pie). After we eat, I'll clean up while DH and the girls put up and start decorating the tree. After that we'll be lazy again, maybe watch a movie.
