Lucky jeans from eBay. Love the fit and I've found some awesome deals. Last two pair were $6/each with shipping and she claimed to have work them once, but they looked brand new to me. I try clothes on in the store for fit then buy online.

LOFT's curvy petite works best for my body shape, short with big butt. I haven't tried any of the high end jeans but people always tell they're worth trying.
GAP long and lean or Tommy Hilfiger for everything else. I have a good hourglass shape and most jeans do not accommodate my thighs and hips at the correct waist size.
I usually buy them at Nordstrom, Saks, or Lord & Taylor. (I think L&T is local to New England? Very similar to Nordstrom.) Joe's, 7FAMK, and Express are my favorite. I bought a pair of skinny jeans at Express a couple months ago and love them. They come in short sizes, so they fit much better than anything I ever get hemmed.

I've gotten jeggings from Target and AE. I think I'm going to order another pair of AE jeggings today, they're like 40% off right now with free shipping.
Actual jeans, I've had really good luck at TJ Maxx. The last time I bought jeans, I was able to get a pair of ReRock jeans and Kut from the Kloth in washes that I liked for like $25 each.
