We have a built in breakfast booth that we eat at. She started in a booster seat attached to a chair at the head of the booth. Maybe 6 months ago we removed the chair and set the booster seat on the bench (no straps anymore). In the last month she's stopped using it entirely and just sits, kneels, or stands on the bench.
A booster seat since moving here, for space considerations. He was doing great but now gets up whenever he pleases. He throws an epic tantrum if we strap him in, so that sucks. If he wasn't so old I'd go back to the high chair but we will just power through the battle of the booster.

We don't eat at our table ever. He has a little IKEA chair he pulls up to the coffee table. We are actually going to take the kitchen table out because there just isn't room for it with all the toddler and soon to be baby things. Lame
