What time do your four-year olds go to sleep at night?

Generally he sleeps 10 hrs a night. Usually from 9p-7a.

At 4 - 9-6:30 roughly. Now in kindergarten about 8:30-6:30. And she goes down easier.

Usually asleep between 8 and 8:15. Awake between 6 and 6:30. Keeping them up later does not make them sleep later in the morning.

This exactly. For while he had a habit of checking to see if it was light outside and took that to mean it was "daytime" and time to be up. Oh no, son, back to bed.

D was always a pretty decent sleeper, so I didn't notice a big transition for kindergarten, but these two hooligans are night owls.  And you are not the first person to say that their little one went down easier once kindergarten started.  I so hope that is the case for my two babes.

He wakes up at 6:30.

They're certainly few and far between, but if/when they happen, she's up till 9:30+. Up at the same time.

Okay, that's just cruel, lol. Same bedtime hours, but you get a three-hour nap??? One of mine hasn't napped since she turned two. Sigh.

She gets up when her little brother gets up. She'd probably sleep longer if he wasn't yelling "anyyyyooooone get me! I waaaaaaanna get ooooooout "

Usually by the third yell she's up so that's at around 6:30.

8 to bed and up at 6:30. That's the earliest he is allowed to come out of his room. He's always out at exactly 6:30.

It was really remarkable the first few weeks. Now it's still easier but she doesn't just pass out like she did those first few weeks.

DS goes to bed at 8 and wakes up between 6-8. If he gets up early he will usually take a short nap in the afternoon. I hate those days because he always wakes up from his nap cranky and it ruins the whole evening.

Lol, this is our problem, too. She would probably sleep in longer if it wasn't for Theo. Actually, I KNOW she would. She used to wake up between 8 and 9 most mornings, but Theo's an early riser so she's always up shortly after him. Sigh.

My almost 3 and 5 year old go to bed at 8pm . Oldest gets up 7:30 am, youngest gets up at 8 am.

It depends if they nap. With a nap, 9 pm; without, 7ish. They wake up between 6 and 7:30.

At 4 he went to bed 8/8:15 and slept til around 7. We had to bump it to 7:45 in Kindergarten and he wakes around 7.

Except for this year, when he has failed to readjust his waking to DST.
