I ordered some stuff Monday morning a little before 9am. 2 day shipping. Should have been here Wednesday. (yesterday). All day Amazon says it will be here Wednesday. After I see two fedex trucks come by, I get on the fedex website, and the tracking says it's sitting at the facility in memphis tn, but it still shows a delivery time of nov 26th.
I emailed FedEx. They said it didn't make it on the truck early enough to be delivered wednesday. it didn't even leave california until tuesday night at 7pm. That's like 36hrs after I ordered. wtf.
So I email Amazon.. this was their response..
Hello, I understand that you need your order #110-3491726-7449044 to be delivered to you as early as Thursday. In this case since the order has already been shipped, I request you to please contact USPS to make an attempt to deliver your order earlier. You can contact USPS at 1-800-222-1811. Your understanding is highly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Best regards,
Mohammed Sarwar.
LOL FOR SERIOUS?? Now FedEx shows no delivery time at all. cool.

I'm going to send another e-mail, or call. This response was so ridiculous. I went back through my most recent orders and only one other time was the order not here in 2 days - but it might not have been a prime order. It took 8 days.
Usually i'm not in a hurry to get stuff, but I really needed some shoes I ordered, and a thanksgiving book for DD. Not that she understands, BUT STILL. I wanted the Thanksgiving book ON Thanksgiving.
We've been Amazon Prime member for at least 3 years.. I share a membership with my sister, and we will never cancel, but this annoys me. The response just makes it worse.

Do you and your sister live at the same address? Prime memberships are only supposed to be shared like that when you are part of the same household.
Regardless, get on the chat. I always get them to give me a month free if prime when the order doesn't come in two days.

No, we don't. I'll have to check that out. We've been sharing it for years. Huh.
ETA: Oh, yep. It sure does say in the same household. Well. Then I probably don't have a leg to stand on. But I'm still annoyed.

I don't think this is true. You can share your membership with 5 people.
We ordered something on Monday that we HAD TO have by Tday. We were concerned that Prime wouldn't get there in time, so we paid the extra $4 for 1-day shipping. It arrived yesterday, so it was actually 2-day shipping. I'm glad we did that!
