I used a 10 lb spiral sliced ham (but most recipes say not to use the sliced stuff).
Put about 1 1/2 c of brown sugar in the bottom of the crock pot. Add a little pineapple juice. Add ham. Rub brown sugar (or some of the brown sugar glaze packet) onto the ham. Top with a little more juice and pineapple chunks. I cooked on low about 3 hours and high for 1, but it would have probably been fine to stay on low the whole time.
Last year I did the same thing without the pineapple & it was excellent, too.
Just be careful not to over cook it or it falls apart and looks gross (though probably tastes better because more of it gets the juice)!
