Is half a quart really that big of a deal in mixers?

Kohl's has the KitchenAid mixers on sale.  The 4.5 quart is 224.99 (plus 15% off and then of course you get Kohl's cash later on, and then a $50 mail in rebate...comes to about 93.98 before tax).  The 5 quart is 314.99 (plus 15% off, Kohl's cash later, and a $50 mail in rebate...comes to about 142.74 before tax).  

Which would you buy?  Not sure if the color matters.  The 4.5 qt only comes in white right now.  The 5 qt has a bunch of different options.  This one will be one that will go to my dad's house that I will use in the summer when he's home.  I already have one at my house (a 6qt professional...I make big batches of cookies and dough so it definitely gets its use).

I think the 5 qt Artisan is sturdier than the 4.5 qt Classic. I would get the 5.

If you go through the ebates app on your phone, Kohl's is 16% cash back right now.

Check the difference in the size of the motor....the 4.5 quart has a 275 watt motor, the Artisan has a 325 watt.  The Pro model is 575 watt.  That's where you want to look, not at the size of the bowl.

I ended up getting the 5 quart in ice blue (my almost 8 year old picked lol). I got 9% cash back for ebates, I will get a $50 mail in rebate, plus $75 in Kohl's cash. Pretty excited about it!
