Don't get me wrong, I don't clean for my Mum when she comes over but we have a 19-year old (very hot) (big boobs) babysitter and I always feel bad if the house is a sty when she arrives. I mean, she sits in the living room for several hours, assuming she can see bits of random fluff & crap on the floor, and the bathroom should not have boy-wee visible?
I have a concert tonight that's she's babysitting the kids for, and I think I should vacuum and clean the bathroom.
Do you tidy up and/or clean for non-family babysitters?
I used to. I have completely given up. The times I call her are usually weeks that I'd been completely overwhelmed so the apartment is especially bad. She usually takes Audrey out places, but if they stay in she's amazing and usually tidies up and runs my dishwasher. On the rare occasion I have her come while Audrey is sleeping she basically cleans our apartment. I love her.
My nanny family used to, like the first month the house was immaculate, but now they don't. And I wouldn't expect them too. I try to help out where I can, as I will often clean up the kitchen in addition to any mess we make.
On the flip side, I would try and make sure there is a clean bathroom, and kitchen. But I would not be cleaning the whole house lol.
I absolutely do, and the one we've used (only three times) is just the high school neighbor. But, I have a feeling her mom, who is another teacher, comes over when she babysits BC she loves Emmy and I can see her both wanting to help out her daughter and to play with Em.

I don't think I really need to answer this, lol, but yes. I even mopped the floor, changed the sheets, and vacuumed in labor after my water broke before my friend came over to watch A while I delivered C. I have serious issues I think.
