Would you believe that the only thing I don't have on hand for that is the gingersnaps and optional juniper berries? I don't think my H would be willing to sacrifice the venison for an experimental recipe though.
Ha! I originally read that as "am loaf" and was thinking that was as in "morning loaf" which sounds all kinds of dirty. Ham Loaf isn't necessarily that awesome, but it is certainly better than morning loaf. And you know what? It's not some kind of molded vegetable salad. I'll take it!
I have that cookbook, someone gave it to me as shower gift for my 1st marriage in 1992! Good to know someone gifted me a 20 yr old cookbook, although maybe mine is a later edition.
We had to teach special interest classes for an I-term where I work. One year I taught microwave cooking. (4-5 years ago). The kids had so much fun. We had about 5 microwaves in my room and made popcorn in paper bags without the "microwave bag stuff", we made Bacon egg and cheese English muffins, a chicken casserole, and something for dessert. We found tons of weird stuff online that you could do completely in a microwave. They were amazed at what all people used them for.
