What are you all talking about in here today? The board is suddenly blocked at work. Argh. I bet if I tell them you all are helping a few of our families, they unblock it.

I'd say it's definitely around half an acre. Not seeing a stable or structure of any kind so far but haven't gotten really close and doubt I'll be able to see much from my vantage point in the alley.
BIZARRE. Yesterday: no horse. Today: horse.
I'm ASSuming he's just visiting. Maybe he's a rental??

Is there a trailer parked anywhere?
He might truly be passing through - like a family member is on their way to an event of some sort, or he was recently sold and is being delivered to his new home and they stopped for the day to give him a break. Trailering all day is stressful for a horse, a lot of people build in breaks to long trips.

That would make sense. I'm not seeing a trailer at the moment but I can't circumnavigate the property. I'm sure there's one somewhere.
I think you're probably right. He seems fine, big & healthy actually. If he's still just hanging out in the back yard later on, then we'll see.

I've dabbled in crochet for 10 plus years, mainly doing baby blankets with craft store yarn. I did one project with nice quality yarn store yarn that is sold loose and they wind for you. I'm now ruined. I tried to start a new project with the cheap yarn and it's making me insane how difficult it is to work with to get even results. Grrr. I miss not knowing any better.
I'm seriously about ready to just quit the internet for today. There's a local story about 4 officers who were struck by a car while doing crowd control for a peaceful walkout by high school students protesting Ferguson. The fb feed is *full* of people saying, "I get freedom of speech, but..." THERE IS NO BUT! Plus other idiots are blaming the kids. Like they had any control over that car.
Interview done, think I have a pretty fair shot depending on the other candidates. My boss popped in to ask how it went (she's a reference so she knows), and she's pretty sure they'll steal me away; should know towards the end of next week.
And after all that hand wringing about my shoes and the weather here, it was dry/warm enough but my bloody heels broke while getting dressed this morning, so patent loafers it was.
I've rewarded myself with a yummy Reeses cookie, and there will be wine tonight.

LOL
I remember that. Then they give you a little taste of alpaca or, heaven help you, quivit, and next thing you know you're eating ramen in the dark broke, but wearing the most scrumptious socks and sweater that feels like it is made of angel kisses.

I'm so happy that the director of our program is working with my friend, and she's able to stay in class. She will have to pay $120 to make up the missed class, but that's better than being kicked out.
I'm watching Ellen, and she's talking about all of these crazy reality shows. I know TLC has some crazy shows, but Virgin Coaches, WTH. That's just ridiculous.

I think a position I really want is opening up sometime soon, but it hasn't been announced yet and I only know because i'm privy to confidential info in my current position. But I really want to get my name in there. I should just polish up my CV and keep quiet, right?
Our movie theater is showing a classic Christmas movie every week. Tonight we're seeing Home Alone. So excited!
Holiday Barbie is super chic this year. I kinda want one.
</div>Is it news to CEP that Amazon's pricing structure is based on demand?
Every time an item is purchased, its pricing structure eeks up just a smidge. That is why if you put something in your cart and leave it there, you can watch the price fluctuate every so many days.
The closer you get to Christmas, the more likely things like the Lego Friends Dolphin Cruiser will be $159 on Amazon and just 49.99 at Target. Higher demand drives higher price and vice versa.

</div>Well, I'm not sure how well reviews correlate with units purchased, but white holiday Barbie has 154 reviews to black Barbie's 30. And based purely on statistics, I would think white Barbie sells more.

I don't know how well they correlate either.
Also, how many were manufactured? If Amazon has 50,000 white barbies to sell, and they are selling 100 per day, but they only have 10,000 black barbies and are selling even 50 per day, their percent demand of merchandise is higher for the black barbies.
Also, how long have they been selling? I would guess that the demographics of amazon users are disproportionately white. So it may have taken word of mouth to spike the sales of black barbies. But a sudden spike will impact their pricing algorithm as well.
