I know. He is a great dad. This was the first over night and only the second time I let C ride with him since I discovered the drug abuse. I do feel like he's clean. He and I had a long discussion Thursday night about his sobriety and C. I guess I just worry who will judge that I'm letting C go spend time with an addict.
I'm pretty sure my xh is an addict but the court doesn't so he still has visitation.
That's where I am. I know if he took it to court I would have to allow it.
I still pick out fantasy wedding shit and I am married. It's just fun! I loved my wedding! I love pretty dresses! I love jewelry! I love attention! Some people fantasize about 401Ks, other people weddings. Different strokes and all that.
I would seriously but wedding dresses to sit on my couch and watch TV ala Friends if I was rich. They just make me feel special.
I bought a ballgown on sale at a formal dress shop once. I wear it around my apartment. It makes me feel pretty.
My best friend from az and I used to go to the mall and try on formal gowns when we had a bad day. It started with trying on pretty ones but then always evolved into picking the ugliest gowns we could and laughing in the dressing room.
jojoandleo I totally agree with you! I'm pretty anti beard myself. A few days scruff I like but any more and not into it. Also I have an irrational attraction to the guy in your second gif. Like he's my favorite part of workaholics.
Totally with you girls - scruff is good, full beard not at all.
I don't really care for beards myself. Asshole ex is the only guy I have dated who would grow scruff for any reason other than testicular cancer awareness month. I found it really scratchy and it irritated my skin. I was happier when he shaved it. He was a naturally attractive guy but he would shave his head and grow a scruffy beard in a way that I really found to be a turn-off. Plus he would laugh about the fact that I didn't like it but then he wanted to criticize various things about my appearance a lot. Total hypocrite. He also thought that Axe was great.
I agree that certain guys can pull it off but I tend to prefer an "ancient Roman" look, largely clean shaven. 5 'o clock shadow sometimes might be ok.

He's just as much your child's parent as you are. Â You're not "allowing" visitation. Â If there was a safety issue that's a different story.
My xh is not a parent. He does not do anything remotely like what a parent should do. He is the definition of Disneyland Dad. So, for me, I am allowing visitation only because I have to.

Disneyland dad doesn't equal unfit parent. In the eyes of the court especially.

My xh is an unfit parent, therefore he has supervised visitation. A parent disciplines their child, provides for their child, does homework/school work with their child, feeds their child, makes sure they are clean and cared for, my xh does none of that.

This doesn't seem like a really great reason to deny your kid a relationship with your kid's own father.
Speaking of FB, someone from SO showed up in my "people you may know" and I was briefly tempted to send a friend request, but she would have no idea whoTF I am.

I am pretty particular about beards, I feel like they really only look super good on dark haired guys, because then they don't need to grow in a full beard for it to look filled in...if that makes sense.
BF is blonde AND has a natural redneck facial hair pattern. He can grow chops, a mustache, a pike, and a goatee, but none of them connect. There's a gap between each section, LOL. I like BF with *some* facial hair, but it's a little ridiculous right now.
I want to see you are man enough that you have the ABILITY to grow facial hair, without actually having any.
Is anyone else getting hot?
LOL. XH could not grow a beard. He could grow a chin strap...it was sad.
Ok, so my ex is Hispanic, but cannot grow facial hair to save his life. It's really sad. He tried to grow it out a few years ago and all he got was Cantiflas.
I wish I was kidding. LOL That's ^^ Pretty much exactly how his mustache grows. He didn't shave for 2 months, and that was it.
