Ladies who plan to breastfeed, might I suggest the following...
Go through all your shirts and blouses that still fit you at the beginning of your second trimester and sort out the ones you think you'll be able to breastfeed in (machine washable and easy to pull up, down, or aside for breast access). Because you're not going to want to hunt them down in your closet among all the clothes you haven't looked at or put on in 6 months when you are even tireder than you are now and are trying to get dressed before your baby starts crying for you again...
I figured I would just live in hoodies and sweatpants at first, no? ha are my boobs going to get a lot bigger when my milk comes in?
YES, especially the first couple of days it's in. Then they get smaller but still large. I bought nursing bras one band and cup size up and they're a little tight still.
Hoodies are awesome to throw on when you don't want to wear a bra but have someone dropping off food or something. I also like all my snug fitting knit tank tops and tees because I can wear them around the house without a bra but they hold shells or nursing pads in place.
I bought a bunch of the stretchy tamis and fly away cardigans from Old Navy. Because I'm always looking for an excuse to buy something
Lurking tonight. But I have to Ditto tamis. I have worn one every day for the last 11 weeks. Seriously. They are the best. Tami under and then whatever shirt I want on top. Shirt uo, Tami down. If I'm home i just wear the tami. Comfortable, washes well and cheap.
