There are those that everyone talks about - constipation, morning sickness, sore boobs, etc. but I've had some others that i blame this baby for, though I haven't heard of them being typical. What about you?
First, my nipples are changing. They and the areola are darker in color and they are in a more erect state than usual.
I have had stages of weird pains that are not injuries! Several weeks ago for about a week I went from walking normally to feeling like my ankle or he'll was broken and my foot hurts so badly that I couldn't even walk. It came on really quickly and didn't last very long. Now I am going through a stage where my shoulders, elbows and hands are killing me. I am not overusing them at all. Elbows are hurting right now so badly then sleep. Ughhhhhh!!

The nipple thing happened to me too, I noticed it last week and it freaked me out.
No one tells you about the discharge down there that my doctor says is normal. Yuck!

Oh yeah the nipple thing is normal, lol. I have been caught off guard by the major joint pain, especially my knees and hips. I also freaked out about the new moles until I talked to my doctor and she said that was normal too.
I freaked the other day when I got out of the shower and glanced at my nips/areola sin the mirror. Whoa! They're black and bigger and my nips have grown about a 1/4-1/2 inch. Crazy!
I had this horrible soreness/pain in my right shoulder blade twice that lasted for 3-4 days. I'm wondering if it's pregnancy related. I just figured I slept on it wrong (never happened before pregnancy).
I never knew congestion was a pregnancy symptom until I read about it this week. So weird!

pooh8402 I didn't realize how bad the fatigue would be either at the beginning! It took all my energy to get through work and I would just crash when I got home! It will get better though. I'm still tired a lot but I felt like I could function again around the start of the 2nd tri.
I have had back pain off and on for a while now. I also have been getting ligament pain and sometimes it really hurts! Oh, and I knew baby could kick you in the ribs but I didn't know how much that could hurt! Ouch!
Yup, the exhaustion, the nipples, and the weird aches and pains.
I knew I would be tired, but within a few hours of waking up all I want to do it nap again. I have no motivation to do anything right now.
My nipples are definitely getting larger, and darker, and are definitely erect more often. And I swore when I took off my bra the other day they had been leaking because it felt like I was pulling a bandaid off my nipples. I looked it up and apparently they can start to leak this early since the ducts and what not are opening up. Weird.
Also, the weird aches and pains. I'm finding every so often one of my knees (just one) gets really sore and has to be iced for a bit and then usually feels better within 36-ish hours. Also, my wrists get sore easily.

My nipples have changed too. The fatigue is something I knew about, but didn't understand the extent of. It's hard to describe that exhaustion, and I hate when people say "wait till the baby comes!" Because yes, I expect to be exhausted then, but 1st tri exhaustion feels like being tired for no reason. Because something the size of a blueberry is quietly kicking your ass!

Weird dreams and insomnia. I haven't had a decent's night sleep the entire pregnancy. Even when I take Unisom I still wake up several times to pee. The one time I slept 5 hours straight I was so happy until I realized I woke up lying on my back, then promptly freaked out. I then had to shake and poke my tummy until I left the baby move before I could go back to sleep.
Also, pregnancy rage/irrationality. I literally lost my mind trying to clean a mirror yesterday because I couldn't get the streaks/smudges off. I spent 20 minutes trying before I burst into tears and wanted to punch the thing. I find I get irrationally angry (at stupid stuff) much easier now that I'm pregnant.

Also, my dreams are pretty vivid!
My arm pain started like this! I thought I slept wrong too.

Yes! Even though I'm not that far along yet, I'm finding that my patience and tolerance for stupidity are much lower already. Can't wait to see how much worse it gets later on! People better stay out of my way if they know what's best for them, lol!

Omg yes to the no patience. I get annoyed/angry so easily and it's hard to hold it back sometimes when I'm in a situation where I really have to be calm like at work. I hate it! Poor H probably thinks I'm crazy when I get mad at him over nothing
I have had bad foot cramps the past few days. Not positive it's a pregnancy thing, but everything else seems to be, so I'm blaming it for this too.
I get them a lot too! I've read that it can very much be a pregnancy related thing to get foot/leg cramps. Can't remember why but it keeps popping up as a symptom I read about on my apps!

Holy crap the discharge. Ugh. I feel like I smell like vagina all the time these days. Eewwwwwwwwww
So far I have had 2 symptoms that took me by surprise and that I hadn't read about before hand. The first was the dysgeusia...a bitter metallic sour taste in my mouth that I had non-stop my first tri and in the early parts of my 2nd.
the 2nd came on around 20 weeks, it's just a ravenous thirst. I can chug 2 bottles of water and still feel parched and like I am dehydrated, even though I know I am not. It actually gets worse after I drink something. On average I drink 120 fl oz of water a day and if I don't have a water bottle with me at all times and I get that feeling like I am dying of thirst, watch out! I had heard you get super thirsty while nursing, but I wasn't expecting it when I'm already plenty hydrated.

One nobody ever talks about and I am dealing with is extreme dizziness. Had it last pregnancy too. It hits mostly in the mornings when I first wake up and am still lying in bed.

How far along are you and have you had your Gestational Diabetes test yet?

wed will be 24 weeks. We just saw the OB last week and I brought it up, so he just wanted to do a basic metabolic screen and I went in friday to have blood drawn for that. I go back at 27 weeks, but so far he has not scheduled it. It was one thing that came across my mind as well.

I've been pretty dizzy too. I always have vertigo but now it's slightly worse. I can't tilt my head back or to the side quickly without feeling woozy. I have to be really careful working out when coming up from floor work. I almost passed out in one of my barre classes early on.

You can always get a glucose monitor at CVS/Walgreens for really, really cheap.
It could be nothing though. I've been consistently gobsmacked this pregnancy at just how much liquid I need in order to stay hydrated.
In first tri I constantly feel like I'm listening to a recording of ocean waves. It's from the increased blood flow/volume but it happens almost as soon as I stand up.
Later on: skin tags, horrible farts, night sweats.
