Because I just witnessed an attempted purse snatching.

I had just got to my car in the front row and I glanced up to see a youngish chick try to grab an old ladys purse, knock the lady and her cart over, and jump into a waiting car. Thank god my kids aren't with me, but they usually are. And I am sobbing because it could have been me with my baby in the cart and G holding on to it.

Luckily the lady seems fine and the bitch didn't get her purse.

A former high school classmate was just arrested for driving the get away car when his gf grabbed a purse from an 80 year old woman in the kmart parking lot on thanksgiving.

Thanks guys. It was so surreal. I was just standing there putting groceries in my trunk maybe 30 feet away. Scary shit. I did hear someone say they got the license plate, so hopefully they will catch them. There were at least 2 or 3 witnesses who got a good look at the chick. It was dark, but not late, probably 645? And well lit. Maybe there were even cameras, who knows.

It was probably the tree under the purse snatchers shirt that knocked the old lady over. She did dive into the get away car kinda awkward-like.
