I've never posted on here before because I am not very crafty, I'm afraid. I have just been asked to come up with a craft idea for 20+ 4th graders for their holiday party next week. It can't be a specific holiday like Christmas, and so we usually default to snowflakes/snowmen for themes.
Can anyone come up with a simple, relatively inexpensive craft that will keep 20+ 9-10 year olds busy for 15-20 minutes? We can't do food items.
Can you do the finger print snowmen? My nieces did them for christmas ornaments on tiny stretched canvases, but you could do them on paper and frame them. Attachment Deleted

I love this idea--I think it's a winner. So, I just need to buy paint and tiny canvases or something similar. I think I can handle this. Thanks.
While I love the idea, I think this might be too advanced for my limited crafting capabilities. I honestly would not know where to begin. Maybe next year, lol!

We just did them at a bday party. Use Mason jars and random plastic toys that you glue onto the lid. Keep I in mind --it was a lot of fun!
Pinterest has a ton of ideas: Pine cone skiers or snowmen, mitten suncatchers, qtip snowflakes, window winter scene, paper bag gingerbread men, thumbprint holiday lights, etc.
